Fated To Them Novels & Stories

As they remained united, there was still hope. The connection they established earlier in the day was not just a pact, but a commitment to themselves and each other. While starting their journey into the unfamiliar, Amora experienced a sense of tranquility enveloping her. They were destined by fate, but fear no longer held them captive. They had made the decision to follow this route, and they would stick with it until the end.

Kai wouldn't miss it for anything, especially now that he was with the pack. Nicolas pushed the thought of of his mind. If Kai needed him, he would most definitely send for him. It was five minutes to midnight. At midnight was the time everyone that would be mated would get their mate. Nicolas had heard people say that it was like a pull, dragging you and tugging you in the direction of your mate. However you tried to fight it, you wouldn't be able to escape it. That was what it meant to be fated mates. To love someone forever.

The chosen one will have to keep a distance, watching the pull go all out and accept being the third wheel in the relationship. Such catastrophes could result in suicide on the side of the one left behind or even pack wars. In my case with Johnston, no drama is expected as we are from the same pack and no one has shown up yet to claim one of us. Moreover, our age is close to the point where werewolves believe that one had better accept he will never find his fated mate anymore.

They wrapped around her, mingling, layering, claiming the air she breathed. Mate. The word slammed into her mind like a door kicked open. Mate. Mate. Mate. All three. Her breath hitched. Horror and wonder twisted together in her chest. She looked up at them, Kade’s steady gaze, Darius’s burning intensity, Ronan’s quiet certainty, and understood with sudden, shattering clarity. They were hers. She was theirs. Fated.

The fate that seemed to be awaiting their pack was a cruel one, a fate that seemed to be predetermined, a fate that seemed to be inescapable. However, the had faith and hope in Ashton. He was a great leader and would protect them.

“Didn’t you feel the mate pull?” “The… the mate pull?” My heart stumbled. “Then that would mean—” “Yes,” he said softly. “We’re fated mates.” For a second, I couldn’t breathe. The words sank in slowly, their meaning almost impossible to process. Fated mates. The concept was nearly mythical now, a legend more than a reality. It was said that a long time ago, the moon goddess stopped binding souls due to the overwhelming rejection rate.

“I understand. Tell me what you’ve found out.” “Theodore and I are fated mates, just as Grandma Susan had long predicted.” I can see my words have hurt him. “So what does it mean for us?” “I love you. I can never be with Theodore again, even if we are fated. He is evil and cruel. You’re lovely and kind and loving and loyal. This is why I realised I love you. I love only you, Thomas.” “I’m happy to hear that. But fated means that you are meant to be with Theodore, the Moon Goddess has destined that.”

“My bad.” Victoria sighed again. She’d finally given up on trying to fight me. I could hear her rubbing her eyes through the phone. “A fated mate,” she said gently. “Is different than a chosen mate. It is someone who the universe has destined you to be with. People who are with their chosen mates are said to be able to awaken their deeper, more wonderous powers.”

Regardless of how interesting Zelest Hawthorne might seem. “No!” I fired back, stepping away from him. The roles were reversed now as I took the usual fiery persona which was more of Zelest’s. “We’re nothing. Whatever this is, it’s fate’s cruel joke—a fluke. It’s never going to be more.” Regardless of how poised and indifferent he tried to look, I saw hurt flash in Zelest’s eyes as it did in my chest. It felt like my heart was being ripped away from my chest—rejecting my mate.

The glowing sigil beside her flickered with each word, as if responding to her call. “Vareth lun’kai thalara ven’dorai. El’nura vel thalos, kai’ren vora’sul. Thalek’ra vyn Serakai— luneth varan'kai.” Translation— “Finally, our fate shall be fulfilled. The earth and the moon are now one. The past can never overshadow the future. Now the descendant has risen—ready to slay her enemies.” She wasn’t just meditating—she was communing.
