I'm Not My Daughter's Only Father

I'm Not My Daughter's Only Father

Just before the new school term started, my daughter's parent group chat, which had been quiet for ages, suddenly announced that the first parent-teacher meeting of the semester would be held that night. The rule was: both parents had to attend. A long string of "Got it" followed. I was about to reply when I noticed someone had beaten me to it. A guy with a family photo as his profile picture sent a voice message. "I'm Emma Sullivan's dad. We'll be there!" I froze. I clicked into the member list and checked repeatedly. My daughter's name was Emma Sullivan. He said he was Emma's dad. Then who the hell was I? I immediately called my wife. Before I could say a word, I heard her cheerful v

Then in a rather serious tone, he added, "Also, get your head out of your ass and your heart out of the freezer. Love someone for Christ's sake. Nora needs a mother in her life." "I think I'm good enough for Nora, thank you." "No, you're not. As much as you think you're sufficient for her, you can't be both father and mother to her. She's growing. There some things daughters would never talk to their Dads about but will with their Moms," Jason said with certainty. "Besides, you're mostly at work. You barely even have time to spend with her." "Well, that's where Mrs. Hopkins comes in. She can have her mother-daughter talk with her," Brad replied unyieldingly.

The writing was good. Interesting twists in the story. However, I got irritated when Doris was being immature. Love how 8 years old Nora and 4 years old Max acted and spoke mature. Hated that the transition between events was not always smooth and the wrong gender was used often. Nice, happy ending.

Spurned Yet Desired

Spurned Yet Desired

she said genuinely. Suddenly, I envied Alpha Gardon for experiencing such a wonderful bond and connection with his daughter. I cannot remember, as actually there is nothing to remember when I experienced my daughter’s hugs and kisses on my cheeks. Adamantem and I did not have that kind of closeness. I could not blame anyone else but myself. I have been such a worst father to her and a husband to her mother.

David said proudly; Kate laughed at his face when she saw his proud expression as if he owned the world and she was that world. Kate hugged his waist and rubbed her head on his chest. Not All Who Wander Are Lost

Not All Who Wander Are Lost

It wouldn’t ever be what it could’ve been, but maybe down the line Chadwick and Hollis Bogard could finally have some semblance of the father-daughter relationship she always needed, and deserved. What’s more, she’d found new faith in the dynamic power of recovery as a whole.

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Aaron gritted his teeth and said, “From the moment you set that fire four years ago, I no longer acknowledged you as my daughter.” “What if I told you that I didn’t set the fire?” “Even if you didn’t start it, the fire was set because of you.” Aaron’s eyes were ruthless and profound. “You shouldn’t have come back alive.” “Okay, I understand now.” Adina smiled brightly. Since their father-daughter relationship had progressed to such a point, any so-called affection had also disappeared. So, she did not need to fear anything now. “Dad, Adina, please don’t quarrel.”

Ahh! I want more! This one was a real delight. The overall flow of the story was very interesting. I so love Addy and Duke, the power couple. At times, I'll hold my breath for what to come next. It's so eventful, to say the least. Pity all good things must come to an end.

The girl who tame Chaos

I said. “Chill, okay?” My dad said, smiling. “Hell, son. I don’t think you already did everything, because if you do for sure you’re already on good terms with her. Try harder son, she might know how to fight but she’s still a girl who can get hurt not just physically but emotionally too.” “I will dad.” I said. “As for you Chaos, you know that I love you for my daughter but if you hurt her I’m telling you I can forget that you’re my friends son.” Dad said to him.

The Daughter They Traded Away

I just looked him in the eye and smiled. “You already made up your mind for everyone. So who exactly is this ‘let me choose’ performance for? The reporters? Or the people you do business with?” Seraphina blinked fast. She stepped closer, grabbed my father’s arm, and let her voice break at just the right moment. “Brielle, do not speak to Dad that way. He only worries about you. He is scared that no one will ever marry you.” Her voice carried just enough for the nearby tables to hear. Someone nodded along. Someone let out a sigh. Someone mumbled that the older daughter was so kind and thoughtful.
