Father Garcia Novels & Stories

“He hasn’t done anything. In fact, I haven’t even seen him these past few days. He’s rarely around. Unlike his son.” “Son?” came my father’s confused reply. I let out a small, nervous laugh. “Apparently, the mafia king has a little boy. He calls me ‘Mama.’ It’s… strange.” The line went silent for a moment as I brushed my hair and sat at the vanity. My reflection looked composed—a stark lie my frantic pulse betrayed. “I-I’m sorry, Rachel,” Dad said suddenly, his voice cracking. “This is all my fault.”

I exclaimed in disbelief. “No. You are crazy!” My stepmom yelled at me jabbing a finger on my temple. When the doctor looked at her, she took her hand away and walked with heavy footsteps to the kitchen. My dad’s hand is still on my shoulder heavily exerting some downward force to avoid me from standing. “I’m not making things up. My father knows about Angelo,” I said. They looked at each other and then to me. “They know him because you talk a lot about him before,” the doctor explained using the calmest voice he had. I shake my head in opposition.

had quite of thrilling assumptions from the people, questions mainly. After such long years of desolation, Garcia's were finally having their lady of honour, the only woman in the mafia... currently! Would she be able to survive, would she be able to make it... for how long? "Fernandez's claimed their daughter to be one goddess all these years, I thought your father exaggerated everything to please us!" The voice of the Grandfather was deep, when he looked at both the Garcia's brothers for a mere second before staring at Alejandro, who looked absolutely emotionless.

“So you still remember you’re my husband? You still remember that Artie is your son? “How many times have I sought you out? Didn’t your bodyguard tell you? I even went on my knees before him in the end. Has your heart ever softened? “All I wanted was for you to see your son one last time, but all you care about is Jenny Horne and her child!” “Whose father are you, exactly? Can you even tell the difference anymore?” I recalled how, whilst Artie had been understanding of Logan’s busy schedule, Logan was letting another person’s child ride on his shoulders. My heart felt as though it were being pierced by countless tiny needles, a dense stinging pain coursing through me. Logan opened his mouth.

I ask my mother, referring to the boy who used to landscape our garden, AKA my childhood crush. "You don't know?" "Know what?" "Warren doesn't work here anymore. Do you know Accelerate?" "Those gyms?" "Yes dear. Well he's the one who owns them." I gasp. "Seriously?" She smiles at me and nods. She'd found out about my crush in its early stages. God knows how. "He used to be our landscaper." My father fills in the blanks for Anthony. "How does he concern you?" Anthony asks me and I'm stupefied by his audacity.

“Excuse me.” A deep, smooth voice cut me off like silk sliding across skin. I turned. And there he was. Mr. Garcia. Dressed in a dark blue blazer and black slacks, sunglasses. His phone in one hand while the other was fixed in his pocket, standing there like he’d walked straight out of a magazine. My heart leapt to my throat. “Y-You’re here?” His eyes settled on my mother with polite respect as he stepped forward. “Good afternoon, Mrs. Williams. I hope everything went smoothly.”

The pressure I applied to my molars was intense. Jano laid his hand on my shoulder. “Use that anger down in the basement.” He tilted his chin toward the back of the club. “They have Garcia.” I narrowed my eyes. “Garcia doesn’t narrow it down. It would be like the famiglia saying they have Rossi.” “Manuel. Manuel Garcia. New kid to the crew. Has been working cleanup the last few weeks.” My time was supposed to be spent up north. I wasn’t as familiar with the crews down in Southern California, and I couldn’t stop thinking of some Russian with his hands on what is mine…

Manuel’s Dad walks into the office, followed by another middle-aged man with dark hair, who I have to say is a spitting image of Gabe , so I can only assume this is his Dad. “Hola Beta” he nods at Jake. “Let yourself in, why don’t you, Mr Garcia” Jake grins at him. “Can see where Gabe gets it from” “Hey Uncle” Manuel greets him. “Hey Dad” “Alright Manny, we got a fight on our hands by the sounds of it? Wow, this one's a little lady, ain’t she?” Gabe’s Dad grins at me. I just half smile at him. Not like I haven’t heard that before. You get used to the jokes about your height when you are short.

My breath caught, my chest tightening as the reality settled in fully, impossibly, making everything feel like it was moving beneath me. His father. I slept with my fiancé’s father. This couldn’t be real. The dizziness came fast, overwhelming, and I instinctively held onto Ryan, my fingers gripping him tightly, because I was certain that if I let go, I would collapse right there in front of everyone. “No, we haven’t met,” his father said calmly. His gaze never leaving mine. “Nice to meet you, Elara.”

She looked at Hector but he just shook his head. I just shrugged because I had no idea why Zac is being moody all of a sudden. I couldn't see his full face since he is wearing his mask again.
