Fayre Book Novels & Stories

"Take the book, let the others know.” Faye hesitated. And I heard the thunder increase, as well as an absurd pressure in my head. My necklace blinked. Faye still tried to lift me up, but I pushed her and screamed for her to leave. She completely ignored my request, and did worse, released even more than she could of her magic to create a small portal before us and launched the book inside it. Ending our disguise on earth once and for all. "I will never abandon my queen," grunted her petulantly.

“Haven’t you said it before?” “Yes, but maybe they don’t remember and reading this will make them understand this book better. So yes,” She is suddenly facing the wall beside her, “I want you guys to read the first book. ‘Asteria: The Fey King’s Mate’. It’s exclusively on N******t, so I couldn’t upload it here. I am sorry for that, I really am but this will make you understand a lot of things better and I hope you like it.”

Once I hear him getting up and changed I do the same on Aidan’s door, then Ben’s. “The Langham isn’t that far.” Aidan says as we sprint down the stairs. He takes the lead as we run through the city. ‘Faster.’ Flint growls. Fuck! I hope she’s okay. She has to be okay. ____________________________ Faye ‘Ahh Hey Heyyyyy Heyyyyy’ The music notes float through me. It grips me and takes over my entire body. All I can do is close my eyes and dance. So I dance. And dance. And dance.

A woman separated herself from a clique of fae, her swaying walk and bedroom eyes locked on Jayce. The Prince next to her stiffened, sketching a small bow to the approaching fae. She was beautiful, all high cheekbones and sex appeal. Her dress, made of what appeared to be strategically placed holly leaves, barely covered her. One wrong move and she would be baring more than just her skin to the crowd around them. On anyone else, the dress would be indecent at best. "Aoife." Jayce's voice was stilted, the name sounding more like a curse. "It is a pleasure to have you here. I thought you would not be returning from the Summer Court for several weeks."

It was about giving him cover for his affairs. Fay didn't have a clue. She was still in the dark. She stood there in a crisp white blazer and skirt, her black sunglasses perched on her nose. The soft click of her white heels echoed, amplifying her polished vibe. There was something magnetic about her—regal, confident. Next to Sandy, she was in a whole other league. Sandy might've been pretty, but she was surface-level, like tap water. Fay? Fay was mesmerizing. A queen.

"Why does your wardrobe involve, exposed cleavages, displayed thighs and daring dresses?" "Because that's what's it means to make an impression, sweetheart. You don't always have to look so uptightly dressed. Once you step into a new place you've got to let everyone know that a hot bitch is in the room and she's loaded," Faye explained, grinning. I gave her a bored look, as she fixed her makeup for the millionth time in the car. "Seriously Faye. What's the use of any of this? It's not like you're planning to hook up with any of them."

He concluded. I rose to my feet and smiled as the hall erupted in applause and whistles. The same hall that was empty the day my husband refused to show up was now filled with both people I knew and those I didn't. After the ceremony, the applause didn't end there. People kept praising me. A group of little girls even formed a little fan club and ran to meet me. “We love you, Faye. You're so cute.” The trio of pigtails and pink dresses chorused.

After the war between humans and shifters, an alliance was formed to keep the peace. The price? Daughters of the human nobility had to choose a shifter as their mate.
