This vile shit was going to kill her and there was no way that either of us could ever let that stand. No, Nick was going to die and I was going to do it right here and now. Nick looked up at me and for the first time, I could see the fear in his eyes. He opened his mouth to say something. What, I'll never know because I took that moment to rip is throat out. He gurgled as he choked on his dead blood. That wasn't enough for me though. I ripped into his chest and tore his heart out. Next, I ripped his head clean off and threw it away from us. I exhaled shakily, relief mingling with lingering terror. Nick pulled me further into the shadows, away from the corpse. “How did you get here? What are you doing here?” he demanded quietly, eyes scanning me like he expected trouble.

She looked to Gildeon over her friend’s shoulder, her gaze silently asking: ‘What do we do? When Gildeon turned back, Nick was staring at him—lips peeled into a snarl, teeth jagged and bloodstained, his eyes glowing red. It was a look that reminded him too much of Ghulik in a frenzy. "It is, you asked for the truth, so you need to face it up, after all I was the one who went to check on her that night, it was Celine Clifford, it was Celine Clifford you hit that night"Thomas yelled at him confirming Nick worst fears.

If I was to start explaining who Don Dara was, it would take forever so I decided to just suspend it. "I will tell you later, I promise." I could see the mixture of pain and anger on Nick's face. Any friend would feel like that but then, I needed to protect him too. I was afraid Nick would disturb my revenge process if he finds out I will be doing it in the exchange for my body so I wanted to keep him in the dark because it was better that way. "Let's go in." I urged, pulling him in by his arm. ... I guess my moments with Don Dada totally made me forget there was a demon who was possibly waiting for me inside my apartment. Fear gripped my heart as I approached the apartment but I tried hard
