The female looked up startled. "I didn't see you there. I'm sorry." She wiped the tears from her cheeks. "Do I know you?" She leapt to her feet, with a frightened look on her face. She didn't know who they were. Were there still rogues loose? Were they part of the group that killed her mate? She looked around for the best route of escape.

"The mate of these female wolves that went missing, go feral and we are forced to believe that the wolves are dead because a wolf only goes feral once their mate is dead. For the pups, their mothers can always tell if they are still alive or dead and so far, all the pups have been declared dead by the mothers." The room fell silent as he finished explaining. If they were really dead then this was really an issue.

Silas’s P.O.V The other wolf’s form was an impressive sight to behold. I could already tell it was a female from the way it carried itself. Her sleek fur was black as coal, glistening in the moonlight, and her eyes were piercing amber, like two burning suns.
