Neither of us said anything for a long time. Then the past walked in with mud on her boots and a hood pulled low. “Snake,” Ghost said without turning his head. I didn’t move. “If you’re a ghost, I’ll tear you apart anyway.” She pushed back the hood. The scar at her temple looked new. The eyes didn’t. Those were the same—sharp, stubborn, a little haunted. There was rainwater at the ends of her hair and dirt under her nails. Her hands were up, not in surrender exactly, but in acceptance.

“Is that a human or a ghost?” Across them, dressed in black, a man with a face so deformed that his features couldn’t be differentiated was walking toward them. He had no nose, his teeth were showing, and his eyeballs were even protruding from their sockets. There were craters all over his skin, as if his face had been washed with sulfuric acid. This man was utterly horrendous. If he were to act in a horror movie, he wouldn’t require any special effects makeup. He must be the ghost previously shown on the livestream.

" Wow! It doesn't seem like she can see ghosts hmm. Yes she can see ghosts but she doesn’t want to tell to other people about that. "But you can see ghost duh!” I said with full of sarcasm. "Yep. “This is between you and me. So, let’s settle it, Denis.” Ghost’s eyes narrowed and his face warped into a twisted mask of anger and indignation. “Denis died a long time ago. My name is Ghost.” He walked forward and put his gun right against Will’s forehead. The girls yelped in fear at the sudden movement. Alex and Spencer were rigid as terror gripped them as well. “And I am here to haunt you.” It happened in slow motion. Ghost’s arm moved from Will towards Emma his finger tightening even more around the trigger.
