Are you mad at me?” I sighed and gave her a half hug. “No, I heard most of what happened. You almost lost control and went completely feral. I know that if you didn’t get her out of there you would have probably killed her by instinct.” Going feral was a dangerous thing, it means that the human mind is completely overpowered by our basic wolf instincts. And if a wolf goes feral, they cannot recognize who is pack member and who is enemy. When a wolf goes feral only two people in the world can calm the wolf down. Their mate... and their Alpha.

Did they say how long these attacks have been happening?” Feral rogues are dangerous. They are wolves who lost all of their humanity and only attack for blood and sport.

Antonia and Freya both called out to their children it was time to wash up for dinner, leaving Ciara and Owen alone in the garden. “We need to talk…” Alpha Mars sat next to his wife, the worried look returned to his face. Ciara took his hands in hers before urging him to continue. “I got a call from a pack in the North-Eastern territories overseas. Apparently, Pack members are turning feral, attacking each other and eventually dying a horrible unexplained death.” Ciara gasped, “You mean they are going rogue? Why would anyone want to be a rogue?” Her hands shook slightly at the horrible thought. Her eyes filled with tears at his words.

It can’t be him. “ last night, at one King Ezra's birthday party, you had an encounter with my son. You were on heat and forcefully had your way with him. I’m not going to use the R-word. He couldn’t stop you because it seemed like that was what you wanted at that moment.” She paused and took in deep breath before continuing. “ well, your encounter with him has unleashed his demons. My son has gone Feral.”

None of Robah’s clan had done anything to deserve this. The Wetland ferals had closed the distance to an arrow’s flight, but they would use no arrows on their quarry. Feral preferred close-quarter combat. They preferred to tear the limbs of their prey rather than pierce them dead from a distance. Close combat satisfied their bloodlust better. They were monsters—fast monsters. They did not need animals for transportation because they ran faster without them. Robah counted ten of them. Talk about overkill, he thought. One alone could kill them all.

“I am serious. You have nothing to worry about. Those were just some feral werewolves passing by. I just had to make sure they don’t sniff around. I don’t want to take any risk with you here.” “What are feral werewolves?” Elizabeth asked. “Just wolves without a pack. They’ve been kicked out of their packs for one reason or the other, and they now wander around trying to find food or shelter or just for the sole purpose of wandering... they are usually dangerous, but they know they are no match for a dragon, so they tucked their tails and went their way.”
