The Trillionaire System

The Trillionaire System

3 – Echoes in the Underground Beneath that burning city, under rusted steel and dripping pipes, Ethan Cross’s people moved like whispers. The old subway tunnels had become arteries of a new civilization. Families huddled in maintenance alcoves lit by scavenged lamps. Engineers repaired generators taken from decommissioned stations. The smell of oil, sweat, and damp concrete filled the air — the smell of survival. Ethan walked among them, silent, sleeves rolled up, not as a leader giving speeches but as a man taking notes. Each nod he received wasn’t worship; it was trust bought by exhaustion and hope. Leah followed, clipboard in hand. “Node Three reports all evacuees accounted for,” she said

Beta's Magical Mate

Beta's Magical Mate

The silence had hollowed the empty ruins of the streets but still, there was something beneath these ruins that made a way to hope for a day of sun to shine again. Under cracks within the concrete roads, and the gaps that take you to the place which has been hidden by the bare eyes of the creepers roaming as the modern world’s Anpu, guarding the planet from the last source of returning Titania. The place which differs from the darkness corrupted on the surface, has a lively and sparking life emerging inside the whole vessel. A reconstructed underground city, a place to hide for the survivors of the dreadful apocalypse and its aftermath. For some, it is enough to live their whole life, hidden

 REVENGE

REVENGE

" No ... I live in you and you in me. Be true to your ideas, no matter how crazy they may seem. Nice night, my sky. I'll look for you soon, kisses. "Kisses my love, she said while she cried and disconnected from her magical love. She took the book that she had previously thrown and began to read it, only then, she could understand that she was trying to tell Azrael in a veiled way. The book contained stories about the existence of a civilization that lived inside the earth based on scientific arguments. It is supposed to be located in a concentric sphere inside the earth's surface where we live. It has an inner sun, what we call a nucleus. His life is extremely long. Their skin is somewhat g

The First Heir

The First Heir

It was like a small town that dealt in the dark. As far as the eye could see, there were densely packed partitioned rooms and areas that appeared crowded and dirty. Many unkempt people begged in the corridors, which were full of litter and squeaking rats. Of course, the ferocious-looking assassins with tattoos were in a hurry. The people here had been abandoned by this world. They could neither see the light nor survive in the outside world, so they could only hide underground. That was because this place was not controlled by the outside world and had its own rules of survival.

The Victorian Society of Strange Ocurrances

The Victorian Society of Strange Ocurrances

Sister Margret lead them to a small room that looked like a shed of sorts, fit for a Gardner or a repairman, she unveiled a secret hatch on the floor; it exposed a hole in the ground that had a ladder to walk down into an underground hideout. "Please follow me." Sister Margaret took the lead and guided them step by step into their secluded destination. Down the ladder, there was an underground chamber. The place contained thousands of books and rare artefacts, some skulls from strange creatures and aged weapons that had never been seen before or written about. It was like a museum of the strange and macabre, a unique cave of wonders Sister Margaret had travelled the world and seen things few

A deal with the angelic-devil CEO

A deal with the angelic-devil CEO

It was not her position to care about the upper echelons of the Organization. They drove all through the night. They had already left the Imperial City and were now driving on small roads through smaller villages, until they arrived at a very old and worn down village. When looking at it from the outside, it did not seem special at all. Olivia was being taken to one of the buildings, where she was led to a secret passage hidden behind a bookshelf, and then through a tunnel that went down into the ground. Olivia did not know much about this place's structure, nor had she visited such hideouts before. They were often built underground and were very hard to enter or leave, as there were only a

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

“It will be much like it was at the World’s Fair opening, Evelyn. Simply follow my lead. Can you do that?” Evelyn’s pulse kicked up a notch. Their trip to the World’s Fair had been like visiting an alternate existence. It went beyond simply politely 'familiar'. That had been an imaginary World of Tomorrow where the natural hierarchy and boundaries of wealth and social status had been erased, like the idealized Democracity or the egalitarian Futurama. Where people attracted to one another were free to explore that gift in each other's company without question.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

The Black Devil Omegaverse

The Black Devil Omegaverse

They'd read 9 Lives, 10 Circles, and been tested on it. He wished he had a copy right now. It was a fiction book about one tom's attempt to gain an audience with the Black Devil. It read like a tour guide of the Underworld, down to the minutest detail, when it didn't go into the scratchings of the main character's slowly twisting mind.

The CEO'S Forbidden Protection

The CEO'S Forbidden Protection

Torn books were scattered across the floor like the aftermath of a literary war. Alex wrinkled his nose. “You’re telling me a human inhabits this place?” I walked straight toward the back wall, pulled a leather-bound dictionary, and the wall shifted silently as a concealed door slid open. Alex’s breath caught. Beyond it was an elevator. We stepped in and it took us ten feet below the library. “This is fucking insane,” he muttered. I chuckled. He was cute like this—curious, amazed, and trying not to show it. The underground safe house looked nothing like the dead library above it.

The Hybrid’s Claim

The Hybrid’s Claim

And in the center of the cavern, illuminated by paranormal light, is a city. An actual city. Underground. Hidden. Made for paranormals. Buildings carved from stone. Structures that seem to grow organically from the earth itself. Paranormals of every type are moving through the streets below us. Some in human form. Some in their true forms. All of them stop when they sense Adrian's presence. "Welcome to the underground," Vess says. "Welcome to Sanctuary." "How is this possible?" I ask. "How has no human ever discovered this?"
