Reborn Mafia Queen: Ruining My Toxic Family

Reborn Mafia Queen: Ruining My Toxic Family

“Couldn’t sleep? That’s what a guilty conscience does to you. Serves her right.” I said with a smile. “Or you could just send her to a mental hospital. I mean… you guys probably have one lined up already, right?” In my last life, before they tossed me in the river, they locked me away in a dark asylum, claiming I was "mentally unstable with violent tendencies." I was tortured there. Marco’s face changed. “What the hell are you talking about? What mental hospital? Victoria, are you losing your mind? Fiona is so kind. How could you say that about her?”

Belle Vue

He must get to the supermarket to pick up the stuff Claire wanted, but for now, he had to keep focused, otherwise he wouldn’t get his work done. Alex pulled out his laptop, sat back at his desk and made a space in the center of the pile of books and handwritten notes. The amount of material he found on the history of Victorian asylums had surprised him. He was amazed at the speed at which these institutions had sprung up in almost every town. Not only in Britain but America too, followed by other parts of the empire such as Canada, Australia, and India. Like medical mass hysteria. Nothing prepared him for the tales of how the mentally ill were treated in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuri

Against all odds

Against all odds

Jonathan's story The moment you enter such a hospital, you can't help but be impressed by the cries of sick people; their faces that express fear and somehow ask for divine but also earthly help. In stark contrast to what was happening in the hospital hallways and in the inner courtyard, John Maxwell's room was quiet. Patient John was cooperative and calm. That helps the detective understand him better. It's hard to talk to such a person with a mental disorder, but it's different from John’s. It makes him think that he is imprisoned here for a completely different reason than the real one.

She implored. I cleared my throat, "Hmm, nothing really, I just wanted to ask her something about the book she wrote before, I'm Zon by the way," I explained. "But, sir, we are not permitting people without any connection with Ms. Macney, we've been given an account of about that, and besides, why do you want to talk to someone with a mental illness?" She said, and I felt sorry for Ms. Macney, that was tough, so what if she has a mental illness? I also felt afraid for people like them cause they might cause violence, yet I could still manage to talk to them. This nurse was supposed to understand them clearly, especially when she decided to work here. But I must meet Ms. Macney, I was running

I love this book! One of my favorites already! This author is seriously amazing at writing emotion and showing us how the protagonist thinks and acts. I love the characters and the mysterious plot!

Oh my.? I feel bad for Cassey?. I hate bullies ? But to answer the question in your blurb, maybe to get genuine love I would fall for a person even if he doesn't exist in our world. Really interesting story ??

Love this story. It is thrillingly mysterious. The love and lust is palpable. Some of it seems to be written a little immaturely. Maybe that's how the character arc was supposed to relay, and we feel them mature. There are also 2 chapters that are repeated almost verbatim. Otherwise,I'd give 5 stars

This book is so good! I love how complex it is. I’ve been reading it for the past two weeks and just finished it! I’m so sad and so badly hope the author is writing more chapters as I speak! I’ve had a lot going on in my life and head and this book has been the best to help! My bf is jealous of it!

Some of them even took the ride that comes every Friday specifically for college girls. "The good ones had become housewives after graduation while the bad ones lead an indecent life until today. "It pained Mr. Fordham to watch them live such a life. He tried to talk them out of it multiple times. "Yet, they betrayed him by framing him for having distorted ideas on them. I captured a few of them and scared them into spilling the truth. "Some of the good ones were paid to spread bad rumors about Mr. Fordham, too. "As for the mentally ill people, they were either sent to a psychiatric hospital or had committed suicide.

Ok so I’m now on chapter 1286 and it’s getting ridiculous. It’s great that Liv is now a badass assassin but that should be saved for a sequel. Make a part 2 that we can CHOOSE to read not be forced to read just to finish our original storyline... I have too much money invested I’m ready to end it. ...

yay.....! Finally, new chapters boo hoo only 2. I am so addicted to this book it's like watching an awesome movie with several sequels. I wish I had 100's of chapters a day instead of 1 or 2. I also don't know how to give this book gems or rate it. I will say it's great reading keeps me on edge. ...

The Fated Alpha Queen

The Fated Alpha Queen

It breaks my heart to know how mistreated and abused they were. The institution is far too big of a place for how little it is used and the now limited number of patients, only those who are truly mentally ill are kept there now. It’s practically an empty space, and the pack Hospital is abysmal, a tiny unit attached to the packhouse. We decide to renovate the institution into a state-of-the-art Hospital, with a secure psychiatric mental health wing attached to it.

I stared blankly at the bookshelf in front of me. No. Absolutely not. I shoved the thought away immediately. I am not going to think about him. Especially not after the way my pulse had reacted earlier when Derek looked at me in the training grounds. And definitely not after Fiona’s teasing. Nope. I walked over to a shelf in search of a book, trying to divert my attention from dangerous thoughts. The shelves here seemed older than the others, filled with history texts, magical records, and strange psychological studies. One title immediately caught my attention. Childhood Memory Loss and Magical Trauma. My fingers stilled on the spine and slowly, I pulled the book free. A strange heaviness s

Almost reverent. Then he murmured, "Back there." He nodded toward the rear of the store, behind a half-curtained passage marked STAFF ONLY-where the lighting faded, and dusty crates of used books lined the walls. Clara didn't speak. She just turned and walked, her knees still weak, heart racing. Julian followed. Back stacks. No cameras. No witnesses. Just the heavy scent of paper and want. As soon as they were hidden behind the curtain, he pressed her against the wall of crates, mouth finding her neck, sucking deep bruises into her skin. She gasped, moaned, grabbed his coat lapels.
