Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Caitlin dove into the book, scanning through, turning the pages as fast as she could, looking for any mention of vampires, of how to heal or cure one, how to bring one back to normal life. As she began to read, she suddenly slowed down. She went back and read it again. Then again. Her heart started beating with hope. She could tell right away that this book was very different than the others. This, of all the books, felt the most real to her, the most scholarly, the most impartial. It wasn’t filled with hyperbole and myth and wild stories told by grandmothers. This one was written, paradoxically, by a bishop, in the 16th century. Also a doctor, he had seen dozens of inexplicable cases of cor

Mafia's Medicine

Mafia's Medicine

Dante's Pov Life had a way of messing with me. Who would have thought i’d still see her again, the girl from the club, The one i killed for. Honestly i had forgotten about her but yet i did not have any explanation for my action,i could not even decipher why i did what i did. She was however different from the way i saw her at the club last week. I had learnt she was a Medical doctor, a surgeon to be precise she must really be smart. She was however different in every way from the women in the mafia.

The Sickened Luna's Last Chance

The Sickened Luna's Last Chance

Where did I even start? I decided to start in the medical section, where I found a book on ancient diseases. That seemed like a good enough place to begin, so I settled at one of the old wooden tables and began to read. I pored over every word, every footnote… everything. Nothing. So I moved on to the next book. Then the next. And the next. Hours passed. My eyes grew strained, but I kept reading and reading and reading. I read about incurable wasting diseases, afflictions of the blood, even folk tales about punishments of the Moon Goddess.

The Luna He Couldn't Break

The Luna He Couldn't Break

I whispered to myself, “Now this is what the Fox Pack should be known for.” I wandered through the shelves, fingertips trailing over the spines of books older than some packs. Thick leather-bound volumes lined every shelf, some etched in gold, others cracked with age. Medical texts, botanical journals, things written in languages I couldn’t even name. “How is no one reading these?” I muttered to myself. “All this knowledge just sitting here, collecting dust...” I pulled out a book on rare healing roots and flipped through it as I walked, scanning the pages for anything that resembled my father’s condition. I didn’t even realize I wasn’t alone until my foot caught on something.

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

Charlie took out the pocket-sized book carefully and saw ‘Apocalyptic Book’ written in ancient script on the title page. “The name is quite interesting, I wonder what is written inside.” Charlie flipped the book and read its contents. The first chapter was the ‘Medical Techniques’, which recorded a large number of cases and treatment methods. Charlie frowned curiously. He had studied medicine briefly before and knew some basic theories, but the content in the books was obviously much better and advanced than the methods used in the medical industry nowadays. Some methods of diagnosis and treatment were unheard of even. In fact, at the end of the ‘Medical Techniques’ chapter, he saw a content

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

It looked like a large bookstore… As far as one could see, there were all kinds of ancient medical books. This place was even bigger than her master’s library! Yaksha led them to a bookshelf. He then extended his hand and retrieved three books before placing them in Xyla’s hands. The three medical books all had indigo covers. The covers were clean, and there wasn’t a single word on any of them… “I wrote these myself. They contain methods to cure many rare diseases… These are my gifts to you…” Yaksha said.

The storyline is too good to be true! I love all the leads and emotions are shown very clearly... but nowadays, it looks like story is still dragged out... same drama, same praises, same scandals... either this should end on a good note or may be Author should change the perspective.
Peachy Barbadillo
a lot is going on with the story and I feel like Stanley was being left behind in this story...I think y should focus more on the two main character...where is Stanley's point of view when xyla were being attack and bullied..that's all but great story though but decided to drop it...

Contract Marriage with the Vampire

Contract Marriage with the Vampire

Hope nodded, taking a deep breath before leaving with Florence who promised to have her back soon. Faith gave the room a quick tidy, much to the displeasure of Lizzie the maid who caught her in the act, playfully scolding her. Whilst Lizzie changed the bed, Faith went to the library to the section she hadn't been brave enough to explore yet. Vampires. The central wall was covered in books about them, constantly playing on Faith's mind as she read. Until then, she hadn't given into her curiosity, but given the light of recent situations she couldn't hold off any longer. Marching into the room, thankfully empty as usual, she waltzed straight up to the centre display and started climbing the go

Spoiled by Mr. Russell

Spoiled by Mr. Russell

Seeing that Dominic had finally turned to look at him, Austin was delighted. "Uncle Dom, don't waste your time! These medical books are a thousand years old. No matter how good they were in the past, they can’t keep up with an ever-changing society. “Besides, these viruses were developed abroad. They’re new and mutable. There’s no way these ancient books know how to tackle them." He felt that what Dominic was doing was pointless.

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.
