Fictional Archaeologists Novels & Stories

Everyone got to their feet. An old man said smilingly, "War Legate Draco, I've always been very interested in Gostia and Partingia, but I never had the chance to conduct research on them. Thank you for fulfilling my dream." "This is Professor Steve Vargas, an archaeologist from Southeast University. He's sixty-two and has a vast knowledge of ancient ruins. He's also brought a few students with him," Mya introduced. Adrian said, "Thank you for your service despite your age."

He said that day. Ayesha grinned happily when she heard it. "Looks like someone has become famous among archaeologists." I laughed in happiness, because not only did my guard travel support me but they also became the best companion I have for this trip. "They probably think I'm crazy." I comment. Leo shakes his head. "They think you're enthusiastic." "Is there a difference?" I raised my eyebrow and he just laughed at it. The archive was unlike any museum I had visited; there are thousands of scrolls, maps, stone rubbings and old excavation journals. And everything was carefully preserved behind glass.

I told her giggling as I finished the glass of wine I'd been drinking to help calm my nerves. We said our goodbyes and hung up the phone, and as soon as I blacked out my screen I made it a point to ask Christopher if he would please leave the damned picture on the nail now, which made the Alpha Prince laugh as he cooked. He truly had no idea what he was in for with Olivia coming into town, but I was quite excited. Livie was an Archeology nerd like me, and I couldn't wait to see what kind of artifacts she'd dug up over the summer as well. She had been looking for ancient pagan occult items that the vikings would have made, and I truly hoped she had found some. Most of my artifacts were of Afr

"Shit! The jerk is stupid. Shawn Richmond must be alive at any cost. I believe Anthony will make sure of that. I knew him. He loves to play games. If Shawn was dead, then it would be the end of that treasure as well." Zeus and his man nodded. "Anything else? How about the butler? He was the most trusted man in Shawn." Alfonso continued as he began to pace. Something was missing in this problem, something he had not anticipated. "So far, nothing suspicious. He’s been going to work, as usual, as butler staff at the mansion. He did receive three visitors yesterday, though." This was new information, and Alfonso’s curiosity was spiked. "Friends?" "One is your daughter, Chelsea. And the second is

that I didn't expect. In a small apartment in Neo-Tokyo, a man was sitting at a computer. He was in his late thirties now. His hair was streaked with grey, and he had a scar over his left eye that hadn't been there in 1998. It was Silas. He hadn't forgotten. He had spent the last two decades becoming the world’s greatest "Data-Archaeologist." He wasn't looking for money or fame. He was looking for a "Ghost."

Jeeves considered Frank's suggestion and nodded in agreement—as long as the archaeologist stayed away and Frank only told him like it was a tale, they could avoid exposing their own secret. Still, he said, "It works for me, but I'm not sure if your archaeologist is the real deal." Frank chuckled. "Don't worry—she's really amazing. Just tell me everything!" With that, Jeeves elaborated about everything in detail, about how his ancestors scoured every inch of this place in search of treasure but still could not find anything.

Your behavior hasn't helped with all this digging," Frances scolded. “Seriously, Allora. I'm surprised by you. This is no way to behave if you want a career as an archaeologist… "Didn't my behavior help?" — I got pissed. Josh's arms around my chest reassured me. “I'm the only one doing any real archeology here. You're so busy running your own public relations campaign that you haven't even looked at the cave paintings. I know, because I looked them up and found them to be fake. - Speaks seriously! Ruth exploded. "You're saying that because you're jealous...

The thought slithers through my mind, and I shake the idea that I witnessed a smirk whisper across his lips. My irritation gathers in my chest where a growl threatens. "What brings you here, Stefan?" "My archaeological research brings me here, Jian. The reason hasn’t changed. It is the same as it was weeks ago." His patient reply is condescending to my ears. "The construction work here accidentally created an excavation site for me. Workers exposed some long buried fragile artifacts and I’m working to extricate them without damage. I am trying to trace the genealogy of these artifacts, which I confirmed are Chinese. The immigrants who came from China to San Francisco have a long history in a

I can’t believe I get to say I’m part of anything mythical that’s not like DnD or similar. I, however, have been more interested in the archaeological stuff that the guild does to study and document what they’ve learned about the supernatural. Muhsin and Sameer have both praised me on my skills in this area. I mean, duh, I’m an archeology major. Of course, I’d excel in that part of being a hunter. And this might be one of the coolest parts of all this. Because I’ve been helping the guild via TMA, I secured a job with the Adio Preservation Society starting in a month.
