Zander looks at Camille shocked; unsure what to do as Willow moves forward and takes Camille’s head in her hands. “Stragulum scutum mentis et magia, donec mens est libratum iterum,” she mutters repeatedly, Camille screaming as she tries to escape Willow’s grasp, feeling her magic disappear as Alaric drops to the floor almost gracefully. Damion stared at Coltus for a moment before letting out a growl of frustration. He stooped down and undid the silver cuffs on my ankles, followed by the ones on my wrists. The relief was immediate when I was freed from the burning silver. My magic was starting to sparkly weakly within me. Regrettably, it wasn't enough to do anything, I needed time to regain my strength. But when Damion captured my shoulders again and Coltus took a step toward me with his hand raised, I tried with all my might to struggle against Damion's bruising grip.

The door bulged and she came in carrying a bag filled with herbs that smelled like a week of sour milk. “Your Majesty's,” she greeted with a nod. “I don't have time for pleasantries, Largatha,” I growled, indicating my lack of restraints. “What the fuck is wrong with her?” She settled her bag on the floor, brought out white chalks mixed with grey herbs while conducting her blood magic.

Pru grinned. One by one, they pressed their palms to the parchment. The paper hummed under their touch, absorbing their magic like ink. Freda went first, carving her name in elegant, looping script. Pru followed, her letters sharp and angular. Rita hesitated, then wrote hers with a flourish, the parchment warming beneath her fingers. Freda picked up the dagger. "Blood seals the bond. No going back after this." "No going back," Pru agreed. Rita held out her hand. "Do it."
