Chapter 8 Megan: third person's point of view. — Still pulling Mr. Hot Cheetos on his long sleeves, the both of them turned left on a wide alley, following the icy sidewalk near the corner and passing by a big library. Small amounts of snow are still falling from the empty sky as she inhaled the cold, sweet air of the not so busy street. She glanced back at her companion, slightly confused with his silence. Shrugging, she didn't remove her exposed hands from the taller guy's arm.

Her expression was skeptical, but she just shrugged and moved towards Autumn’s bed. “Hey Autumn, remember me? I attended your party at D.O.N Corps.” Charlie said, her voice filled with excitement as she set the flowers on the small table near the bed. She picked up the gift card and handed it to Autumn with a bright smile. “I made the card myself. Read it,” Charlie urged, her smile unwavering. But as Autumn took the card in her grasp, her eyes remained blank, unresponsive. The silence that followed hung heavily in the room.

Charlie arrived at the house, he first strolled around the building before bringing out his phone to text Rey. “Oh, he already sent a message.” Charlie said as he opened his phone. Charlie's eyes narrowed as he read the message from Rey. “What's Rey up to?” He muttered to himself. Charlie dialed Rey's number… “Rey, what is that?” Charlie started the moment the call got connected. “What's what?” Rey answered from the other end, feigning ignorance.

Charlie walks over to a computer and starts typing away. He jots down a couple numbers on a paper, before looking at Jenna and me. “Hop into the golf cart and I will drive you over to where your mother and father’s things have been stored,” Charlie says as he walks out from behind the counter and over to a golf cart. Jenna and I get in, as Charlie takes the driver’s seat. He ambles along slowly chatting with Jenna about her due date and what she is hoping for.

"Not if my life depended on it." But Beth looks askance at us, then sashays across to Charlotte, saying something quiet. After a moment, Charlotte raises a hand to her mouth, turns and stares at where Chad is landing a blow that would fell a rhino. We must have missed Michael's punch on him because blood is flowing freely down his face, leaving a trail of droplets on the mats. Both men are running with sweat, red-faced and heaving. The doors swing open again and a stranger enters. Slim and with Latino good looks, he says, "Excuse me, but I'm looking for Charles. Is he...?" Then his eye follows our pointing fingers and his mouth falls open. "What the hell is he doing?"

"Charlie! You can't do this to me! I'm your destined mate! The Moon Goddess won't tolerate your betrayal!" Charlie remained unmoved, even giving a cold signal to his subordinates. Several bodyguards immediately pulled her away, dragging her off the stage. At that moment, Charlie knelt on the high platform, gazing into the camera as if I were standing right before him. His voice dripped with passion. "Eve, I know you're watching the livestream! Listen to me, I was sick! Everything I did before wasn't what I intended! "When I was kidnapped on my way to pick up the wedding dress and nearly killed, all I could think of was that I had to survive, that I had to come back and marry you!

Simon echoed as I gave them a middle finger and slipped out. Paul mind-linked me. "Alpha, I got some news, and you may just like it." "What is it?" I asked, flipping through a file Coach had given me. "Charlie is holding a bike convention for teens and kids. I just got the flyer." Carl growled inside. I immediately dropped the file. My interest flew to the convention. A smirk touched my lips. "Send the venue. Already on my way." I screamed actually, Carl growled as well. Paul disconnected the mind link.

I had to scream at whoever it is. Then surprisedly Charlie stepped out of the car with a bottle of the drink he was drinking at the restaurant. For some weird reasons I moved back a little bit, away from him. He looks wasted. He rubbed his eyes then staggered towards me. I kept moving back till I got to my car. "Cha.. Charlie?" I called getting scared, scared of his state. "Hi princess," he said and chuckled like there was something funny. He got closer to me and stopped then rubbed his eyes again.

Salvation added. Charlie Sr was speechless, unable to comprehend the situation he found himself in. Charlie Sr was too furious to focus on the screen and the words Chloe was saying drove him insane during the interview. As a result, he didn't notice something earlier. But now he instructed, "Get the cars ready. I need to head over to Celestial Hotel right away."

“Me?” Charlie smiled faintly and said indifferently as he drove, “I already told you that my name is Charlie Wade, I am twenty-eight years old, and I’m from Oskia.” Marianne continued questioning, “Aren’t you an assistant for Ito-Schulz Ocean Shipping Group? Why is the whole of Ten Thousand Armies yours if you are just an assistant of Ito-Schulz Ocean Shipping Group?”
