I swallowed hard again, my saliva felt like hot Cheetos - hard to swallow. He smirked, knowing the gasp was for him. He ticked his angular jaw, his perfectly sculpted face glazed with amusement. He turned around and wrote on the board. All I could do was stare at him. His back view was Terrific. I wonder if he would allow me to touch his chest after the class. I needed him to look at my note anyway. I anticipated the end of the class. After it ended, I grabbed my note and told Isaac I was going to see the professor. He nodded briefly as he was busy talking to his friends.

I missed my class and the next one, still staring at my email, reloading it every second, waiting… Time for work passed, yet I still waited… I was glued to the position, waiting for a response yet nothing… Still, I waited. It had been a whole week! One week, dozens of emails sent to this Professor, numerous calls to his office number, attempts to find his number or social media account (to no avail; he had no social life whatsoever). I had missed classes, missed shifts at work yet he still didn’t didn’t respond. I had to call the dean of the Business Department's office who helped me with finding his new office room location. Something that I thought had successfully escaped from me.” Noah looked like he wanted to say more but he had to stop because the professor started speaking. “Good morning.” His voice was just as deep as I remembered. “I’m Professor Adrian Frost.” A pause. “I’ll be teaching Introduction to Psychology this semester.” Professor Adrian Frost. That was the name of the man who’d written me the most offensive note I’d come across. The one night stand I thought I’d never run into again. And to think I hadn’t wanted to sign up for this course.

Then I make my way to the school to present myself to my supervisor. My supervisor’s name is Professor Malinda Morsel. So, with a map handed to me, I locate her office. After knocking once on the door, I let myself in. However, I nearly stumble into a tall girl coming out of the office at the same time. “My apologies,” she mutters as we walk past each other. Professor Malinda is a woman with height, seated behind her desk, peering at her laptop from the top of her spectacles while her hands move fast on the keyboard.

Will she really be seeing them all the time, as far as she knows, two of them are her professors. "Good morning. My name is Alistair King. I will be your professor for this year. You may only call me Professor King, and if I call on you, the reply is Sir, nothing else. Now in this class, I want contribution, utmost respect for me and eachother. This class is going to be difficult and if you feel like you can't handle it, walk out now. I will not be dealing with complaints at the end of any test or exams. Assignments will be given at the end of the week, individually or in groups, and every mark counts."

"Are you sure? Because the way you described the tension... it felt personal." Juliet's breath came faster. She could smell his cologne again, the same one from yesterday. "Professor, I don't think–" "Call me Adrian when the door is closed, when we're in the office and when we're alone" he said. The words came out soft but firm. "Just for this conversation." She swallowed hard. "Adrian... I'm not sure what you want me to say." He straightened up but stayed close. "I want you to tell me the truth. When you wrote that line about the professor and the student crossing the line, did part of you wonder what it would feel like?"

"So, it could take years to find anything substantial?" The professor's face lit up with a mischievous smile. "Not necessarily, my dear. Not when you have someone who knows exactly where to look." I tensed at his word choice. My dear? Really? I ignored it and turned to Shana to exchange glimmers of hope, eager for what the professor had to reveal to us. "I've been digging through the university's library for the past three days," Professor Black continued to say, his excitement only seemed to be growing more and more.

Isabel asked me about the man that took me away from the club but I never got into details. It’s a good thing that she never got to see his face. I cannot begin to imagine her reaction when she finds out that he was my step brother and also our professor. If we would start, I would want everyone to drop their phone and bring out their literature text so we can go through our lecture for the day. Isabel finds her hands in her bag and drops the novel in front of me. From where he stood on the podium I could see the way he searched the classroom. I knew he was looking for me.

❤️ Timothy' POV ❤️ I walk towards the classroom I always miss once I'm away, that one into which I know I'll be able to see the girl who brings a lot of weird feelings into me. I step towards the opened door but was stopped by a colleague. "Hey, professor Timothy, sorry to waste your time right now but I need to let you know that I talked to the director about the project...." he keeps on speaking to me as I'm nodding to his explanations.
