Fiona was thrown out of Hernandez Group by Jack’s people. Standing at the entrance, she still couldn’t process what had just happened. One hand pressed against her bleeding forehead as she stood in the cold wind. The blood seeping out was clearly warm. But to her, it felt ice cold. Why? She kept asking herself that. Fiona did not dodge and took that hard slap. Immediately, an obvious palm mark appeared on her tender and pale face. At that exact moment, a woman walked into the bathroom and saw the scene of Yvonne hitting Fiona clearly. Fiona was Secretary Summers' daughter, Jackson's girlfriend, while Yvonne was just a little old nobody. A little old nobody slapping Secretary Summers' daughter was clearly asking for death. The noble lady immediately shrieked and when Fiona saw someone there, she began to cover her face and cry.

Orion's mother expressed her disappointment. "Oh," I replied, looking up at her before casting my gaze downward, shyly. "I'll leave Hannah here so you can get to know each other better. I'm glad you're here with us," she said, giving me a quick hug and a bright smile before departing. Hannah, a calm and innocent maiden of fourteen, seemed like someone I could easily befriend. Instructing her to fetch more firewood for the fireplace, I entrusted her with the task and turned my attention back to the room.
