Forbidden Embers

Forbidden Embers

Mateo fired back. "Mateo, let go of me!" Ava requested, her voice strained. "No, I won't," Mateo insisted, his voice rising. "I want to finally know what his problem is. He's the reason why you didn't accept my proposal to be friends back in high school." He shouted the last part, drawing a crowd. Lucas's jaw tightened. "I said let go!" He punctuated his words with a hard punch to Mateo's face. Mateo staggered back, then retaliated with a punch of his own. The fight was on. Lucas, fueled by anger, threw another punch, connecting with Mateo's jaw.

Fearing Fate

Fearing Fate

And I’m sure Emmy will be able to get information working with Gamma Lucas as a strategist. “How about we stop talking serious stuff for now and just have some fun sister talk.” I suggested. Emmy smiled and nodded. We spent the next several hours just talking about how our lives have been. I told her about Andre and Ophelia taking their chosen mates under the full moon next week. Emmy would talk to them over video calls every once in a while, so it made her really happy to hear about that. Emmy was always more of a listener than a sharer. She told me Gamma Milo, her guardian, and our father’s gamma from our original pack, was doing well. He was proud to hear Emmy and I are back in our origin

at first I thought this was going to be the same as all the other stories. dumb main characters with a jealous girl who wants what isn't hers. I was wrong. this book was fantastic. I'm so happy I stuck it out and can't wait until the next book is finished to read.

Alpha's Jake & Emmett

Alpha's Jake & Emmett

CHAPTER 78. *Emmetts Pov* My heart broke even more after my gamma fell to his knees with his face buried in his lap. Aside from myself, I have never seen a grown ass man cry like Liam is crying right now. There is no shame in this man breaking. I know if it was my mate that had been left at the hands of a monster Like Jake. I would have done the same.

Ancalagon: The Last Pure Dragon

Ancalagon: The Last Pure Dragon

I keep expecting the fire to burn me, to leave blisters like I saw on my father when he passed. “You need to get out, it’s going to collapse!” Fenian says, rushing up to me. He is also carrying two women. These are passed out, one over his shoulders and one in his arms. “I have to get Emmi!” I yell. As I run through the center, I pull my earth element, reinforcing the walls with dirt and sand, noticing that some of it is getting so hot that it’s melting into glass. “EMMI!” I yell again. I push through the fire, unable to see anything but flames and smoke. When I finally find her, she’s on the floor, sitting in a tight ball, her hands over her ears, rocking as she screams.

Great book. Just love the series as well as the others books by this Author. Cooper just has a way of writing and drawing you in to where you don't want to stop reading until you reach the end just as a great author should be :)

This book is a tear jerker, but also touching. It has a fabulous balance of adventure and emotion. All the pieces come together. Cooper set this series up with great skill. I could not read fast enough. Waiting for a chapter to post was brutal. Brilliant

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

Eliza shakes her head, “Nope. I’ve never liked evil people. You were evil even before him, or you would never have turned out like this.” She sighs and rests her head on his shoulder. “Goodbye, Bitch.” She nods and Eliza opens her palm and they both burst into white almost blue flames. Noemi’s screams float around them for a few moments then they’re gone and Eliza sighs, snuffing out the flames. “Done. Now I can sleep, right?” Ash nods,

Eternal Embers

Eternal Embers

In that instant, the specter that had haunted her dreams an image of the Ember Circle’s hidden council dissolved into sparks that floated harmlessly away. She turned to Alexander, eyes shining. “The hour of hollow flame is passed,” she said. “Our line and our love have rekindled it.” He took her hand, pressing it against his heart. “And from now on, no ember shall burn without truth to fuel it.”

THE CAPTIVE'S LOVE

THE CAPTIVE'S LOVE

“I’ve already been broken. What’s left now is the part that learned how to survive the fire.” Vera said nothing at first. She only watched Emereah’s fingers as the ember flickered and pulsed, alive with something ancient. The fire didn’t consume her. It clung to her like breath. “You speak like the flame is your ally,” Vera said softly, stepping forward. “But even fire leaves scars.” Emereah’s eyes didn’t move from the horizon. “I’ve bled for every scar. And I’ve named them.” “Named them?” Emereah nodded once. “My father. My mother. The warriors of Crescent Silver Moon Fang. The girls they slaughtered. The mates they silenced. I carry them all.”

Fated To Be Theirs

Fated To Be Theirs

I should have either gone to check on the company, gone to a bar or gone anywhere without Faye to disturb me. "Are you not going to say anything?" "What the hell do you want me to say, Faye?" I frowned, facing her. "Ember is our mate and I don't fucking care about any theory you have cooked up in your head. Even if you are right and she is working with the enemy, I'll kill every single person and their descendants for using her against me and Tyler and still keep her by my side because she is our mate and she is fucking ours!" I growled, my eyes changing colors and she took a step back away from me.

The Pack's Dragon

The Pack's Dragon

He could feel the sweat beading on his forehead as he drew close, the sting of the saltwater in his eyes as the droplets caught in his eyelashes on their passage down to his cheeks. “There is no pain,” she was as shocked by the development as he was. “The flames do not burn me.” He reached out carefully but could not touch the flames. They burnt as hot as dragon flame. “They do not burn me, but I can feel their heat,” he told her. “Flaming wings… That was… not what I expected.” “Me either,” she looked at him wild-eyed. “Do you suppose that I could…” “Yes,” he followed her gaze when she looked skywards. “Do it, Ember.”

I have enjoyed all the books that I've previously read through yours. and I believe you were doing an excellent job with this book. you edit very well and you're so expressive and it gets you so invested and intrigued about the whole story. I love how the species are starting to blend.
