Hoping that one day I'll have someone to cherish and love. Moving swiftly to where my book collection was, I picked one that was titled, 'Perfect Chemistry' by Simone Elkeles. The love story of Brittany Ellis and Alex Fuentes is so beautiful. Two people from two different worlds falling in love has to be the most endearing sight ever. Maybe one day I might experience such love, until then I need to pack up these books before Natalie gets here. Putting all the books in a box, I checked the time on my phone and it was past 4 pm. I decided to wash up before she got here.

If that's the right word to describe her. "I've read a lot of books before, some romantic sh*ts, like he was an irresponsible at first, left by his first love and family but then after years he will be a goody man who would come and claim his family but then he's still unacceptable for his family. Not everything needs to reinvent the wheel.”

I bit my lower lip, and he slowly looked down at it before kissing me. I closed my eyes, savoring the feel of his lips on mine. At first, his kiss was gentle, but the longer it went on, the more passionate it became. I felt a heat spreading all over my body. Something fluttered in my stomach, making me lose control of myself. What differentiates us is that I was not born or turned, I'm good with sunlight and I could stay long without thirst for blood. I love getting involved with human businesses because they at least changed my boring life. A human even led me to meet the most exciting thing ever in my life, and that thing is.... Romance novels. I accidentally got it from a boy one day and now am obsessed with them. I enjoy reading them, especially the ones authorized by Jenny Alfred. I always wish to get the kinds of love she portrays in her novels. I fell in love with her books and now I really want to meet her.

If sunrise ever had a scent, I would say it was Valentina’s. I flipped through the pages of her notes and inhaled the scent of each page, I wanted Valentina’s scent burnt to my brain. I was looking for more notes when a book toppled and fell out of her bag, landing on my chest. The book was titled “Valentine’s Day.” By “Guillotine” I have seen her clinging unto this particular book before, she went everywhere and anywhere with it. It was probably one of the contemporary romance books with a weak-ass female lead, a plot lacking storyline, and thousands of sex scenes, yet she seemed to cherish this one book.
