When The Sky Falls

When The Sky Falls

Lia blinked at the sight. “A lake?” she asked, stepping out. “Yes,” Damien said, joining her. “Whenever I need to breathe, I come here. Take a swim. Just me and the sound of the birds. Come on, you’ll love it.” He took her hand gently, leading her to the water’s edge. The lake was calm and glassy, reflecting the orange-pink sky. Without hesitation, Damien peeled off his shirt and jumped into the water with a splash. “Come on in! It’s perfect!”

Submissive Academy

Submissive Academy

The city center sprawls before us—one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever seen, yet I feel nothing but sharp focus. The sky above is a flawless, vibrant blue, matching the sea’s endless hue. Below the boat, schools of fish glide effortlessly through the water, utterly indifferent to the white belly of this slow-moving giant. Around us, other boats float lazily—some even parked ahead, blending into the scenery like silent sentinels. Perfect. “Calm,” Aiden whispers into my ear.

I loved this book honestly. It was so good I couldn’t put it down. I really hope there is a sequel and they rescue the other girls trapped in the bad marriages and we can have a look at the new academy. It was a great read very well done.

This book was amazing! It was well written and the story line kept you hooked until the very end! I finished it in a day, I just couldn't put it down! I really hope the author continues on with different characters stories about life after the University. Great job!

A Sky Full of Absence

A Sky Full of Absence

I took off for the wild yonder, gazing up at the Milky Way sprawled across the night sky. It was my son's dream. He was a stargazer, an astronomy buff since he was knee-high. On his birthday, he saw his first meteor shower in the wild. Tragically, that same night became his last. I was determined to make his dream come true. The divorce papers, signed by Elias, landed in my mailbox. Maybe it was guilt, but he rewrote the terms, leaving me with a lion's share of our assets. I took it all without batting an eye.

Heart Toward the Sky

Heart Toward the Sky

Slowly, I turned my head and saw him nearby, a mole at the corner of his eye. "Where are you going?" he asked, his gaze intense, trapping me inside. I closed my eyes, a tear slipping down from the corner of my eye. He was silent for a moment before brushing away the tear from my cheek with his fingertip. "Why are you crying?" His expression was unreadable, and his voice low. "Robin won't appear in front of you ever again." He pulled me into his arms, the familiar scent enveloping me. I cried quietly, not replying.

The Heart of a Luna

The Heart of a Luna

I flip onto my back and just float. The water holds me up, and I stare at the sky. It's that impossibly clear, perfect blue, the kind that makes your chest feel light. A few lazy white clouds drift by, like cotton candy someone spun and let go. The birds in the trees sound like they’re having a party, and the sun - Goddes, the sun is warm on my skin. It feels like a promise.

Skylark Soars High

Skylar, who had softened for love, was already dead in that cold sea. "Install it." I stared into Luke's crazed eyes. "Night Owl was always meant to be a monster."

Midnight Between Us

Midnight Between Us

The ground beneath their feet shook violently as mountains cracked and the distant oceans roared thousands of miles away. Then, the sky itself began to change. A single silver line appeared directly above Earth, stretching flawlessly from horizon to horizon. At first, it looked harmless—beautiful, even. Then, it widened. Reality split open. A massive, bleeding scar formed across the heavens. Across the globe, people screamed, animals panicked, and entire cities watched the sky in absolute horror. Something was opening. It wasn't arriving; it was awakening. The Hunter let out a sound unlike any it had made since its arrival—a desperate, piercing cry that sounded unmistakably like a plea.

Living With Six Demon (Supernatural Series #1)

Alexis's eyes widened when she saw a lot of fishes on the air and they are inside a big bubble and they are all colorful. "What is this? It's so beautiful." She commented and covered her mouth in surprised. "This is what we call The Special Fish Lake. We are calling it like that because of those fishes swimming on the air." He explains. "Wow! They are flying..." She stretched her arms and held the bubble with a fish inside and look at it. "Hello, Fishy... I'm happy to see you." She said and it made a sound out of happiness. The Triplet Warriors and Their Pup Mate(Shadow Warrior Series)

The Triplet Warriors and Their Pup Mate(Shadow Warrior Series)

Suddenly, several dead fish floated to the surface, and I absolutely cringed when a few demons and fairies scooped them up to eat. *Dude, just … no,* Skyler said, over mind-link. I shuddered and tried not to pay attention but I could hear them smacking and crunching away, and it made my stomach churn. We felt the boat rocking a bit more and suddenly a coffin came to the surface along with all the divers. Angel immediately levitated it on the boat and water gushed out from it. Sunny dramatically threw herself on top of it like she was a widow at a funeral. Dad and Hunter picked her up and held her back.

Absolutely brilliant! I finished this book in a day and I'm devastated there isn't a sequel! It's like Game of thrones, meets True blood, meets the Witcher, but also at the same time completely in its own field and ridiculously addictive! highly recommend this book!! thank you author ❤️

Definitely my favorite books on here! I love them so much, I read them all again when Ben's book was finished. I do feel like his book was missing some things, though. I just don't feel like they actually figured out how to make things work at the end. It just kind of forced a happy ending.

In The Way Of Life

In The Way Of Life

Darkness Darkness Vishu picked up another fish and said, 'In the dark, there are fish and fish, why will it rise? Hurry up! He had to return before the end of the day. Then he saw the pebbles and got into the water. Anushka looked very amused. As punishment for wanting to fall behind, you have to go down into the water. He saw that sometimes the water rose far above the boy's knees. Holding his half pants up, he finally crossed his legs. Then he came down a little and stood right opposite them and threw the flute into the water.
