Lia blinked at the sight. “A lake?” she asked, stepping out. “Yes,” Damien said, joining her. “Whenever I need to breathe, I come here. Take a swim. Just me and the sound of the birds. Come on, you’ll love it.” He took her hand gently, leading her to the water’s edge. The lake was calm and glassy, reflecting the orange-pink sky. Without hesitation, Damien peeled off his shirt and jumped into the water with a splash. “Come on in! It’s perfect!”

The city center sprawls before us—one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever seen, yet I feel nothing but sharp focus. The sky above is a flawless, vibrant blue, matching the sea’s endless hue. Below the boat, schools of fish glide effortlessly through the water, utterly indifferent to the white belly of this slow-moving giant. Around us, other boats float lazily—some even parked ahead, blending into the scenery like silent sentinels. Perfect. “Calm,” Aiden whispers into my ear.

I took off for the wild yonder, gazing up at the Milky Way sprawled across the night sky. It was my son's dream. He was a stargazer, an astronomy buff since he was knee-high. I flip onto my back and just float. The water holds me up, and I stare at the sky. It's that impossibly clear, perfect blue, the kind that makes your chest feel light. A few lazy white clouds drift by, like cotton candy someone spun and let go. The birds in the trees sound like they’re having a party, and the sun - Goddes, the sun is warm on my skin. It feels like a promise.

Alexis's eyes widened when she saw a lot of fishes on the air and they are inside a big bubble and they are all colorful. "What is this? It's so beautiful." She commented and covered her mouth in surprised. "This is what we call The Special Fish Lake. We are calling it like that because of those fishes swimming on the air." He explains. "Wow! They are flying..." She stretched her arms and held the bubble with a fish inside and look at it. "Hello, Fishy... I'm happy to see you." She said and it made a sound out of happiness. There are some unknown under water species that swam towards her. They also have bubbles around them.

Suddenly, several dead fish floated to the surface, and I absolutely cringed when a few demons and fairies scooped them up to eat. *Dude, just … no,* Skyler said, over mind-link. I shuddered and tried not to pay attention but I could hear them smacking and crunching away, and it made my stomach churn. We felt the boat rocking a bit more and suddenly a coffin came to the surface along with all the divers. Angel immediately levitated it on the boat and water gushed out from it. Sunny dramatically threw herself on top of it like she was a widow at a funeral. Dad and Hunter picked her up and held her back.
