Tangled
“I’ll come along with you. And together, we’ll get through this.”
Ralph nodded, a small smile on his lips. “Okay,” he said. “Let’s go see the pack doctor.”
We helped Ralph out of bed and into the car. The drive to the pack doctor was silent, each of us lost in our thoughts. I couldn’t help but think that this was all my fault. But I pushed those thoughts aside, knowing I needed to be strong for Ralph.
The pack doctor examined Ralph, and after a few minutes of examination, he looked at us with a serious face. “I’m afraid Ralph’s injury is more severe than I thought. It’s not healing properly, and I’m not sure why.”
