Flirt 101 Novels & Stories

“I’m changing rule number one of flirting. No matter how tempting it may be, avoid using lines that can come across as creepy.” We soon get into the swing of it. By the swing of it, I mean adding more confusing rules for Scott to follow, and of course drinking more wine than we should. It’s almost three in the morning, Katie is slurring her words, I’m almost asleep and Scott has performed more than an actor on Broadway. Dani meanwhile has decided she’s had enough of teaching flirting and has moved onto cunnilingus. “Woah, Woah! I think we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves,” says Scott on mock horror. “It’s only been a few hours since we covered open and closed questions, isn’t it a bit

" She cut the call and fell back on her bed, laughing. She went to her app section and clicked on G****e, typing "the ways to seduce your CEO." Scrolling down, she saw a lot of ridiculous things. "If your boss makes a joke, laugh and place your hand on his forearm." She read out loud. "Like seriously, even if his joke is dry, I should laugh?" She didn't even know how to flirt and smile. Her face would hurt too much from putting on fake smiles. She snorted, reading more of the ridiculous things she was seeing. She huffed, flinging her phone to the other side of the bed.

“What do you mean by planning to seduce someone?” She frowned, our shoulders brushing, and I was never going to wash that shirt ever again. “It’s… not important to share that with you,” she said, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. “I just want to get better at seduction, flirting, teasing, foreplay, kissing, handjob, blow—” “Okay!” I said loudly, standing up and running a hand through my hair. I was afraid I would burst in my pants like a fucking teenager just from her saying the word ‘blowjob.’ “I get it. You want to be confident with your… skills.”

“Horrible.” “What?” I asked. “You sound like a customer service bot,” she said. “I’m answering the question,” I said. “Try this instead,” she said. “Say, ‘Depends… what’s in it for me?’” I stared at her. “I can’t say that.” “Why not?” she asked. “He’ll think I’m joking,” I said. “Good,” she said. “Joking is allowed. Joking is your cover. You tease, he teases back. That’s how you open space for flirting without feeling naked.”

“Is there?” “Big difference.” He leaned in slightly, voice dropping. “Flirting would be me saying I want to take you surfing. Teach you how to stand on the board. Hold your waist while you find your balance. Watch the water drip off your skin when you fall. Then kiss you when you finally ride a wave.” My breath hitched. I stared at him—wide-eyed, heart pounding. He smiled—slow, wicked. “That would be flirting.” I opened my mouth to reply—

A desperate puppy batting those fake eyelashes at him. I was rusty with my own seduction techniques, so I thought I would watch hers. Lately, when I had wanted sex, I didn’t go through so much trouble. I flirted a bit with my target and then made a blunt offer to fuck after my shift ended. I had been turned down only twice. My stats were pretty good if I do say so myself.

I looked down at the menu sitting in front of me and picked it up even though I had no intention of ordering anything. I turned one page. Then another. I wasn't reading a single word. When I finally looked up again, she was still talking to him, her body angled toward him in a way that made it obvious she was trying to show off her exposed cleavage. She was clearly trying to flirt with him. It was written all over her face. She kept smiling at him, playing with her hair, adjusting the strap of her dress whenever she shifted in her chair, and finding excuses to lean closer whenever she spoke.

He said breaking my trance as I looked at the screen to see him seeing his own pictures that Nishant clicks and sends me. "How many pictures have sended by now?" He asked me while still looking at the screen while I calculated. "42 or something." I said looking at him while he just scoffed. Why is he frowning tho? He doesn't even look nor looks like he is hating something cause obviously I and Nishant actually never go beyond the teasing line. Flirting is like once in a blue moon and it's also like complimenting each other which works as a confidence booster and nothing else.
