These bullets couldn’t harm those zombies unless multiple shots were fired at their heads simultaneously and blew them up. The firearms in their possession were still of Aricia Era technology. Their power was far inferior to that of modern weaponry. Even though they fired a lot of shots at the zombies, none of them penetrated their bodies. He don't know when will he meet that guy again. BANG! Ricky let out a yelp and Neal jumped and cursed. They looked outside and saw Caleb holding a gun towards the aiming board. The space was small, and once they were inside, there was no room left for me. I moved from cover to cover alone as gunfire swept across the street. Then a stray bullet tore toward me. I shut my eyes, muttering, "This is where it ends." Something slammed into me and threw me sideways. When I opened my eyes, Stefan stood between me and the source of the shot. The bullet had struck his abdomen. Blood soaked through his shirt and ran over his hands. I caught him before he could fall, and I could not stop crying. He lifted a hand and wiped my tears.

“Did you bring the goods?” “Of course,” the man responds, placing his briefcase on the desk. “Please take a look.” Nodding, Angus goes around and takes a seat, then opens the briefcase, revealing what look like normal bullets. Confusion growing, I stare at them, trying to figure out what exactly is so special about these bullets that Angus and even my brother would be so interested in them. “They look like normal bullets.” Angus mutters, grabbing one and lifting it, but when he touches the tips, multiple needles explode from it. “Fuck.”

At the last second, a surge of raw strength rushed through me. I willed the sunflower bouquet from the grave and sent it flying straight into Jayden's gun hand. A gunshot rang out. The bullet plowed into the dirt. I let out a long breath. Jayden stared at the sunflowers that had just hit him, looking almost confused, like he couldn't figure out how a bunch of flowers had managed to throw themselves at him. Then, his eyes lit up. She ran towards the door, set the timer to thirty seconds and rushed back to Bullet's side then she shoved their bodies to the far end of the kitchen.

Alessio stayed right on my heels. We burst through the rear door into the alley. Kelly was sprinting toward a black SUV, engine already running. I fired—tire shot. The SUV fishtailed. Kelly spun, gun up. I tackled Alessio behind a dumpster just as bullets shredded the air where we’d been standing. Heart slamming, I rolled out, returned fire. They're yours." Relief crashed through me. "Thank you. I'll take them and leave now."
