The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

A single flower slowly bloomed upon the water's surface. Five petals unfolded. Silver. Gold. Blue. Green. And at the center... A brilliant white blossom opened. The Rootkeeper whispered with quiet joy, "The Fifth Dawn has found its color." Before Ama could ask what the white blossom meant... The flower released one glowing seed into the air. It floated upward. Passing through the ceiling of living roots. Rising toward the world above. And somewhere beneath the emerald sky... A child made a choice that would change everything.

CRAVING MY FORBIDDEN STEPBROTHER

CRAVING MY FORBIDDEN STEPBROTHER

Tyler’s mouth is warm and unhurried and he kisses me like he has nowhere else to be, one hand light at my jaw, and I let myself be here in it, in this porch light with this boy who brought me sunflowers and called ahead for a good table and asked what I was building like the answer mattered. It felt nice to be seen. When I pull back he’s smiling. “Next weekend?” he says. “Seven o’clock,” I say. He waits until I’m inside before he drives away. I close the door and stand in the hallway for a moment. The sunflowers are still in their glass on the table, bright and yellow in the dim light, and the evening is still warm in my chest and I am standing here in the quiet of a house that d

My Alpha Daddy: Claimed by My Best Friend’s

Not until— A figure passed close beside her, their shoulders brushing. She stiffened instantly. A deep voice whistled into her ears. “You have twenty-four hours.” Flora’s entire body went rigid. “Or it goes public.” Flora turned sharply, her heart racing. But the figure had already disappeared into the crowd. He was gone like he wasn't even here at all. His words still rang in her ears. Twenty-four hours. Tomorrow at the mating ceremony. That was her deadline…

Bait on the Battlefield

Bait on the Battlefield

Then, he stepped back into the shadows. I felt a sudden, strange pull in my chest. I set my book down and looked toward the corner of the street. But I saw nothing except for a bouquet of my favorite white garland-lilies sitting on a bench. They were perfectly cultivated, the petals still glistening with fresh dew. I froze for a moment, then let the memory go with a faint, peaceful smile. I didn't reach for the bouquet. Instead, I turned away and reached for the steaming cup of coffee Dante held out to me.

The Queen of Werewolves

The Queen of Werewolves

I got closer to see what was annoying the girl - I mean, the young me. Well, it was a flower, a red flower that looked mostly dead. She started chanting something in a weird language. In fact, I started repeating the same as the girl. Right after she touched the flower, the flower obtained life. The smile on the girl's face grew bigger as she noticed that she succeeded in bringing the flower back to life. Then, she started running and enjoying her time again. The thing is, something about the flower seemed off. Its color kept darkening until it turned black, and sharp thorns appeared.

The Awakening of a Blue Rose

The Awakening of a Blue Rose

Esper glanced back nervously, and the stag nodded his head, encouraging her to go in. Taking a deep breath, Esper cleared the vines and revealed a doorless archway. Inside, the stone building was full of flora. Climbing up the walls were white datura flowers, and the floor was covered with blooming rain lilies. The moon shone brightly through the holes in the roof, turning all of the white flowers silver, just like her hair. The area was what Esper was searching for, and she had the stag to thank for bringing her there. Esper heard a rustling and turned around to see the stag trying to make its way inside. She couldn't help but chuckle a little as she watched the animal struggle. He couldn't

Queen Luna: Once Rejected, Now Ruthless

Or even my father. This was about power. I took a step toward the lake, ignoring the pain in my chest and the guilt crawling up my throat. She stayed behind, silent now. Maybe realizing I wasn’t her mate anymore. Not the boy she once knew. I dove into the water. The fight began. Blood. Steel. Gunpowder. And in the center of it all, the Heartroot Flower pulsed like a heartbeat—waiting for me. LANA’S POV Day Five – Somewhere in the Black Forest

Where the Flowers Go

Where the Flowers Go

"Imagine, getting married to me at the ceremony your girlfriend planned. It's like she's part of it too. Exciting, isn't it?" Frank paused for a long time before he finally agreed. Then, my manuscript went missing. I watched Frank, who had grabbed my phone but could not seem to shut it off, his hands shaking. The revulsion I had felt before surged back. With a taste for revenge, I asked, "Can you even grasp how all this makes me feel?" Frank's eyes were filled with a desperate plea as he shook his head. "You disgust me," I said flatly. I had intentionally given him the crystal ball, and the card was no accident either.

Alpha's Regret After I Died

Alpha's Regret After I Died

Tatum’s POV I left them in silence, my steps heavy as I made my way down the hidden corridor deep beneath my home. My heart thudded in my chest, each beat echoing like a reminder of the vow I was about to break. The words I’d told them about the flower weren’t a complete lie. The fire had been real, and after today, the flower would become nothing but a fairytale. I could still smell the smoke in my memory, thick and choking, as the flames tore through our lands. We’d fought with everything we had to save our home and the sacred life flowers we’d sworn to protect, but the fire was too strong, devouring everything in its path.

The author is definitely talented and the story is really interesting and intense. Definitely a page turner and unique plot. That being said, I just would like to not have to pay for full chapters where the internal monologue keeps repeating itself. It was frustrating and made me skip some chapters.

I starten reading yesterday i'm at chapter 16 now. But just like Presh_ shuga.7 says : i would also like it if it would updated often, and also not over streched. There are 4 books you're writting now that are still ongoing. I've seen ongoing books streched out 400-1200 chapters !!!

That finale hit me from multiple angles, and I couldn't stop turning pages until the last line. In 'Flowers are Bait' the protagonist finally pieces together the cruel choreography behind the floral traps — the flowers weren't just pretty props, they were instruments in a larger scheme to manipulate and expose people's secrets. The climax is a confrontation in a greenhouse-like setting, equal parts claustrophobic and surreal, where truth and scent mix into something almost poisonous.

The showdown isn't a neat battle of fists and justice; it's a battleground of memory and choice. Our lead forces the antagonist into admitting motives: envy, grief, and a warped sense of justice. There is loss — an important secondary character pays a heavy price while trying to protect the protagonist — and that sacrifice gives the final reveal emotional weight. After the confession, legal consequences follow, but the novel refuses to reduce resolution to paperwork. It ends on a quieter, more human note: the protagonist planting a single pot of flowers, not as bait anymore but as a memory and a little defiant hope.

I came away struck by how the ending balances bitterness and tenderness. It doesn't wrap everything up perfectly, but it gives room for healing and keeps the imagery of flowers as both lure and legacy front and center. I liked that messy honesty.
