Deaths Possession

Deaths Possession

This is creation unleashed. The flowers loom, towering like gods, their heads heavy and swaying. Petals curl in on themselves, ribbon candy dipped in oil, shimmering with colors I have no names for. Mauves that burn gold at the edges, blues so deep they go violet, then vanish. Some shift when I look directly at them, pulsing and breathing, resenting the attention I’m lavishing on them. Burning starts behind my eyes, the sting of unspent tears blurring my vision. I blink it away hard and fast, not wanting to miss a single second of this moment.

I know I have to keep her talking. Flower?? No… Flower doesn’t makes sense. Why that specific purple flower? I know it’s called a misty bloom… Wait the purple mist? Could the purple mist have something to do with the rogues’ ability to disappear and reappear at will…. Portals! Ciara mentioned them before! Portals are in the mountains!

This book should be made into a full on series, a regular book - it’s SO good! I obvs have some editorial comments, but overall it’s a solid world building, great original characters (though all could use a bit more mix of good/bad qualities for a more natural feel). The plot is so good! Recommend!

The Billionaire For A Rebound

The Billionaire For A Rebound

A faint smile lingered on his lips. In Camila's dream, she found herself in a breathtaking place adorned with a vibrant array of flowers. Delicate petals gracefully descended, gently landing on her hair as she swayed and twirled, completely immersed in the mesmerizing dance of the falling blossoms. Her voice intertwined with the rustling of petals, harmonizing with the enchanting scene.

Unexpected Soulmate: Dad's Bestfriend

Unexpected Soulmate: Dad's Bestfriend

It’s not just a color but an emotion, one that evokes the tender bloom of a spring rose under the morning sun. Adorning this blushing masterpiece are delicate silver balls, sprinkled across like dewdrops on a spider's web. They catch the light and twinkle, adding a touch of sophistication and a dash of whimsy to the cake’s elegant presentation. The crowning glory of this confectionery creation is a unique frosting flower, a blend of pristine white and serene blue. This flower is an artful representation, perhaps a stylized cornflower or a fanciful bloom from a dream, symbolizing the harmony of two lives coming together.

Second Bloom

Second Bloom

The Retiro in April is exactly what she promised. The cherry trees (cerezos en flor — cherry blossoms, a relatively recent tradition in Madrid's parks that has grown in popularity partly due to Japanese cultural influence and partly because Madrid's springs are genuinely spectacular when the trees cooperate) along the north end of the park produce the specific kind of beauty that requires no commentary — the kind that makes people stop mid-sentence and look. Ethan stops mid-sentence and looks, which she finds satisfying in the particular way of someone whose descriptions have been trusted enough to act on.

THE ALPHA'S HUMAN OBSESSION.

THE ALPHA'S HUMAN OBSESSION.

Outside in the clear blue sky, in broad daylight I watched as creatures hoped on the clouds like they were weightless. Creatures whose skin dazzled like the sun. Among them I recognized one from my high state, he had beautiful insect-like, light wings on his back. I knew only I could see them. It was Dew... He had Flora, Bloom and Seanleaf's body floating asleep on piles of clouds and he waved at me. I thought they were dead, seeing them filled my heart with joy. I smiled, raising my hand waving at him knowing that anyone who watched me waving at the sky thought I was crazy.

Till the Flower Blooms

Till the Flower Blooms

Her head felt like mud. Suddenly, a thought came to her. It was a gas leak! She quickly wet a towel and used it to cover her mouth and nose before plucking the strength to head downstairs. When she reached the living room, she found Freya who had fainted on the couch. She felt like she was going to pass out again and no longer had the strength to keep her balance. Her legs folded underneath her and she collapsed. She tried to reach for the phone to call the emergency hotline, but her eyelids were getting heavier by the second.

Corbin leads me away from the small group of people quietly so we don’t interrupt them. We end up going to a smooth rock cliff and planting our butts on the ground. Corbin reaches inside the backpack, pulling out four granola bars and displaying them on the rock. The view outward is picturesque. Something you’d think Bob Ross himself could’ve painted. The sky is aquamarine in color and I can only see a few feathery clouds in the sky with the mountains peaks stabbing into them. It’s so green, so alive. I take in a fresh breath of air, loving how clean the oxygen feels up here.

Carved in the Clouds

Carved in the Clouds

The fields looked freshly viridescent. The sound of birds and the laughter of children could be heard all over. The cherry blossoms looked mind-freshing. Their pink shades made it look imaginary, It felt as if it was some kind of wonderland. The sun was like a ball of fire. It stood proudly over the sky, giving the world a new ray of hope. The park was accented with creamy vanilla and soft, almond-like aromas of the pink cherry blossoms, making earthlings aware that that the spring had arrived again.

he said excitedly to the others. The one with black hair closed his eyes, covering the irises that were the same color as the night sky. “She’s here,” he said in a whisper. He turned to the other three, a grin on his face, and continued, “The Moonflower.”
