Aciano asked, "Not really but I do have a short story that has Arbatus involve in it. Do you wanna hear it?" "Sure." He responded. I then started to tell the tale of Floris's Flower... Arbatus was the appellation it was called. Replete with secrets which are untold. She was embraced with poise, he was caressed by a bud. The garden was Tranquil as it is. The trees sway, blue birds fly, animals chattering and flowers blooming. Oh, how overwhelming! An Arbatus he gave. on a day in September 23. Fall has sprung out like how the leaves had fallen out. Its colors add up to its outstanding scenery.

Divorce to Destiny: Reclaiming My CEO Husband

Divorce to Destiny: Reclaiming My CEO Husband

I say, panning over the countertops and the large, dining space bathed in natural light with huge windows. “It’s gorgeous,” Cass says. “You’re going to make this place amazing. Like this cottage.” “Thanks,” I say, climbing the stairs to the second floor. “But it’s going to take some work.” When I reach the steep, narrow staircase leading to the attic, I pause. “There’s an attic up there stuffed full of old stuff.” I point the phone up the attic stairs. “The kids are dying to explore it, but I told them they have to wait until I check it out first.”

Spring Blooms, Yet We Never Meet Again

Spring Blooms, Yet We Never Meet Again

Vivian sat alone in the shadowed corner of the bar, watching strangers drift beneath the amber glow of the lights. She could not believe she had actually fallen for a rumor. “The real reason the Hayes and Carter families postponed the wedding? Sebastian’s ex was kidnapped. He’d rather call off the marriage than leave her to die.” One reckless sentence was all it took for her to book the first flight to Harbor City. Sebastian was the untouchable heir everyone admired—a fixture on the covers of financial magazines and the polished businessman delivering keynote speeches at charity galas. What could a man like him possibly be doing in a place like this? Vivian shook her head, set down her g

Don't Stop Daddy, Please!

Don't Stop Daddy, Please!

Instead of taking the woman downstairs, Zane dragged Emma up the hidden fire escape—an old spiral staircase that led straight to the very top floor of the Blackwood family mansion. That floor was the attic area for storing antiques and the building’s mechanic room, which had been uninhabited for a long time. The atmosphere was gloomy, filled with the aroma of dry old wood, fine dust floating under the dim glow from the small roof window, and total silence isolated from all activity on the lower floors. Neither servants nor family members had ever gone up to this place except for the cleaners once a month. As soon as they arrived at the end of that vast and silent room, Zane immediately pushe

Onerea: The City of Dreams

Onerea: The City of Dreams

My life has developed so far in London, in the center of the city, in a grey, very large and beautiful house surrounded by rose gardens and fruit trees, where many birds usually build their nests. Gardens that I can't remember how many years have passed since the last time I visited. Our house has two floors and an attic. In the attic, all the decorations my mother had changed through the years, all the paintings and furniture, and the many different entertainments she had picked with time, and then left, are stored in there. When I played hide and seek, as a very young child, I always picked the attic to hide, and always won the game. That also might have been because I didn't play with oth

Everything is so vivid and real. The story progression is very smooth and easy. I feel this is probably one of the most relaxing but interesting reads I have had so far on Good Novels! Great job author! :)

I like how the descriptions really make you see the characters, where they are, and what they're going through. And the pacing is just great. Now I'm curious as to what lies beyond the mirror for Belle... :3

Sir Ares, Goodnight!

Sir Ares, Goodnight!

Jenson’s shaky voice suddenly echoed in Rose’s head. Unable to sleep, Rose got up and dressed herself. Then, she tiptoed up the stairs. Jenson was not the only one panicking about the secret behind the attic, for it agitated her as well. Who was the woman in the attic? … As the Fragrant Vessel Court was built following the characteristics of classical overlapping architectures, its rooms were built intricately and were naturally dim. Pushing open the door in front of the handrail, Rose entered the room and closed the door behind her.

Alpha Maximus

Alpha Maximus

I take a book about herbal medicine. Sitting on the couch, flicking through the pages, I toss the book aside. I leave the room and wander up the hall. The smell of cooked apples and warm caramel hit my nose again. I follow the smell until it leads me to an old staircase that goes up into an attic I slowly walk up the stairs. They appear rotten and damp. I reach the door handle, turn the knob, and push the door open. As the door creaks open, I see a really old thin mattress in the corner of the room—a broken chair in the other corner and a full-length broken mirror missing half the glass.

The Broken Alpha

The Broken Alpha

Not against him. Then Atticus saw a crop of dead flowers. Their stems were a fresh, bright green, but their petals had wilted and withered until he could not tell what colour they had been before. Flowers were a change from the endless rolling fields he’d spent the better part of the morning marching through, so he went to them with an eagerness he had not displayed since he had been a child. Save for Lily’s eighteenth birthday, a dark part of his mind whispered snidely. Save for when you had a chance at love – before you ruined it all.

Poisonous Flower

Poisonous Flower

" Louis patted Adrian's shoulder, made the final step towards our house… And pushed the door open. An overwhelming stench of blood came rushing out, filling the air. Sprays of crimson stained the walls, and chaotic claw marks littered the floor. Every single detail seemed to tell a story of the agonizing and horrific slaughter that had taken place in this very house. "Rena!"
