She held a hand out and went to pet my silky fur but the rest of my guards flew up into her face and she just giggled and brushed them away like flies. "Your a pretty one ain't you," She said finally petting my fur. I melted into her touch and purred and I was revolted with myself that I hadn't noticed it earlier that this small girl was neither vampire or the human but an in-between and that she indeed was my beloved. "Well little vampire bat I should let you go back to your nightly activities," she yawned "I have a play date tomorrow, I can't miss it again," she said back over to the edge of the roof and waved and slid off like it was a slide.

“Here what—” “Shush,” Gen shushed as her ears studied the wind, “Wait here.” She said and trotted into the dark. She was just a few paces away from Ginika when her body disintegrated into different thousands of bats and flew away. Ginika bite his lips, but released them when he felt the pain. At least I am not in some kind of dream.

Wilbur swiftly dodged the flail and then heard a loud crash. The apple stall behind him was shattered, sending splintered wood and apples flying in all directions. Its beloved apples scattered all over the ground, which infuriated the bat creature, causing its eyes to go red. It swung the flail again, hurling it fiercely at Wilbur. The flail was twice as fast, but even so, it was far from being able to hit Wilbur. Bam! The attack landed on the ground, leaving behind a large hole. The bat creature then pulled the flail back and swung it again.

someone suddenly shouted. Everyone looked up and was instantly filled with fear. Above their heads, a swarm of bats was rapidly approaching. Each bat was the size of half a meter to a meter. Their wide-open mouths emitted a strong, foul odor, accompanied by the scent of blood. They were Sanguis Bats! These bats were not only abnormally huge but also incredibly large in number. There were no less than ten thousand of them! When they flew together, they completely covered the sky, obscuring the bright sun on the snow-covered mountain and plunging the area into darkness.

By this time I was sure her forces were all gone as Lycus and the rest of the warriors began to advance towards where I stood, they assembled themselves behind me and Lycus stood by my side, "Don't be a coward! Come down and fight!" "The rest of you can back off before I slay you all!" She growled angrily, her voice echoing through out the forests, "Back off and submit to me!" They didn't budge at her words staking their loyalty to Lycus and I, my heart swelled with pride, "Since the lot of you want to be arrogant and fucking stupid, I hope you are friendly with bats! Carnivorous bats!" She laughed and we heard caws and then the skies were filled with the black winged creature swarming on us

Then, they smashed to the ground just like meteorites, splashing large swaths of soil everywhere. The Shadow Megabat roared wildly and flapped its wings violently. All of a sudden, many bats rushed toward the beam of light, trying to block it. However, as soon as these bats hurried into the light beam, they vanished in the blink of an eye, not leaving any traces. Then, the Shadow Megabat raised its black pitchfork, wanting to block the light. Bang! The black pitchfork was instantly deformed and bent, hitting the Shadow Megabat's chest and sending it flying down from the air like a giant fly.

We both almost get hit on the face and on the head by low hung branches. I know I shouldn't look back to see what those things are flying towards us, but something seems to be compelling me to go do it. A voice seems to be whispering in my head and telling me that I should look. And no matter what I do, I can't shake it off my mind. Then I end up turning around to see the things flying towards us. Bats. Gigantic black bats with red eyes and sharp fangs, their wings as wide as a fence. They're screeching and flying lower, their sharp claws outstretched.

The witches closed in, their laughter echoing like a chorus of nightmares. Something inside Aqua snapped. A surge of dark energy, unfamiliar and terrifying, welled up within her. She felt her pendant grow hot against her skin, the clear crystal turning black as smoke. The air around her crackled with raw power as she turned back towards the attackers, her fear morphing into a blinding rage.
