The Heiress's Brutal Revenge

The Heiress's Brutal Revenge

From within its center, two faint red eyes opened. You are not the first. I stumbled back. You are not the last. The whisper wasn’t heard with ears. It was felt, deep inside, pressing into my chest like a weight. “Run!” Damien’s voice finally echoed from the dark. But none of us moved. The shadow surged forward—not to attack, but to the pedestal. In one motion, it consumed the book. The leather burned in an instant, curling into ash. I screamed. “No!” But the book was gone. Everything we had just learned. Everything we could have used.

Mated To The Alpha Who Bullied Me

“The night is getting darker.” I followed her gaze. It was a full moon. I turned back to the door, then froze. Footsteps approached. Lots of them. “Any chance it could be an ally again?” I whispered, getting ready to fight. My heart thrummed loudly in my ear, adrenaline coursing through my veins. I zipped up my jacket, keeping the book out of sight. Whatever happened tonight, I would make sure to protect it, even if it cost me my life. The footsteps got closer.

STEP BROTHER DEAREST

STEP BROTHER DEAREST

--- It began around midnight. The library lights flickered once, twice, then went out entirely. Darkness swallowed the room, thick and suffocating. My pulse spiked, my muscles tensing. “Ian?” I whispered. “Here,” he said, voice steady despite the darkness. His hand found mine, gripping tightly. Madison’s presence was another anchor. Then we heard it: footsteps. Slow, deliberate, moving between the aisles. Not a shadow. Not a trick of the light. Real, physical. He was here.

Blood and Darkness

Well, at least I finally got something I can do as a mage, right? Water splintered like glistening crystals as I turned and followed the rhythm with precision. I closed my eyes as I continued on my track, there was another smooth splash. Once again, I turned and leaped a little, then faced the audience and opened my eyes. I thought I'd see my expectants watching me in awe. But to my surprise, my line of vision was directed to a pair of unfamiliar pitch black eyes, the darkest shade of black I've ever seen in my whole life.

The Alpha's Hidden Clause

Opened the book to the first page. Once upon a time, there was a wolf who forgot how to howl... I read until Lila fell asleep. Then I walked back to the main house. The hallway light was on. I didn't turn it off. And somewhere in the darkness, I heard footsteps stop outside my door. Just for a second. Just long enough to listen. Just long enough. ---

LIGHT AFTER DARK

LIGHT AFTER DARK

“Lara…” he whispered. “Wait there… Don’t move…” An involuntarily moan escaped her and Christophe spun fluidly around. But by then Lara had already fled, her sole desire to escape. She raced down the steps that led into the gardens, her breath sobbing in her throat. “Lara!” she heard Christophe’s voice calling. Powerful lights came on, illuminating the outdoors. But Lara kept on running blindly, heedless of the shrubs that tore at her. The heel of one of her shoes snapped when she stumbled. She kicked it off and then bent to rip off the other one.

Light & Darkness: Book 2

Light & Darkness: Book 2

So he took advantage of being home on sick leave and spent whole days on his laptop, searching the Internet across the globe for the most reliable sources possible. Maria, after long conversations with her husband and Miguel, let herself be persuaded and promised that she would find some way to contact Nadir, but the search was more difficult than she thought. Firstly, Maria didn't know exactly what to look for, and secondly, where, after all, she didn't know anyone interested in something like black magic and summoning demons. But one night the answer came to her by itself, in a dream in which Maria saw quite clearly the book she was looking for and a spell that would help her contact the c

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

Don’t look up. A figure stepped into view. Tall. Dark. Moving carefully through the garden. She couldn’t see the figure's face. Only the outline of the body as the figure passed beneath the moonlight. The footsteps drew closer. Her throat went dry. She stayed completely still, barely breathing. The figure was almost past the tree. One more step. Just one. Then the damn book— from the very depths of hell— decided to betray her. It tipped. Too fast. Her knee shifted, just slightly, and the book slipped free like it had been waiting for this moment.

I believe I’m about halfway through. This story is amazing, and definitely deserves a lot more notice. I see it’s completed and genuinely hope it is and you didn’t just stop updating it. The characters are great, the back stories to them especially Asher is amazing. Definitely recommend this book!

Hey Readers! I’ve poured my heart into about 80 chapters, yet not a single review. How am I supposed to know if the story is good, worth continuing, or if you’re dropping it halfway? Your feedback motivates me and keeps this story alive. No reviews soon, I’ll take a break and hold back new chapters.

CHASING MY EX-CONTRACT WIFE

Chapter hundred and eight Pamela's pov “Why is it so dark in here?” I mumbled, trying to walk carefully without tripping over done thing. My heels clicked on the floor and I could hear my footsteps echoing. I was about to take out my phone from my bag when I heard the voice I dreaded most.
