For Littles Novels & Stories

Three years had passed, and Lauren, or Lorry as Lily affectionately called her, had grown into a precocious and endearing child. The kitchen, once a place of solitary contemplation for Lily, was now filled with laughter and the clatter of tiny utensils. On this particular morning, Lily stood by the stove, her eyes fixed on her little daughter, who sat on a miniature chair, looking like a tiny queen in her kingdom.

Now that you're teaching me things only a child can see. Every night while we're on our knees all I ask is, please Let them be little, cause they're only that way for a while. Give them hope, give them praise, give them love, every day. Let em cry, let em giggle, let them sleep in the middle. Oh just let them be little. So innocent, a precious soul, you turn around. Its time to let them go. So let them be little, cause they're only that way for a while.

I have no doubt that the two of them will make our pack the strongest there is for hundreds if not thousands of miles. I smile as I rest my romance book on my lap with my legs stretched out on the sofa and watch my babies. Amelia rolls onto her stomach and kicks her chubby little legs. Above them hangs a beautiful hanging toy with soft stars of different colored fabrics, half-moons, dinosaurs and other animals. Of course, Lyle is reaching for everything. He is lightning quick and my mother says he will be the first to walk. Of that I have absolutely no doubt.

"Are you ready for today?" "Yes! What book are we reading today?" I show her the book I picked out. “ We are reading Little Rabbit!” I say in excitement Brenda claps her hands and runs to the reading circle of children who have started coming in The rest of the children trickle in over the next few minutes. In comes Matthew the boy with ginger hair and for missing front teeth. Then Agatha, the troublemaker. Kelvin, the little child who is so hyperactive. They are also different but I love them and their own way

7 years ago One afternoon, little Sophia was playing on her front porch. Her hands were playing with two Tedy Bear dolls by herself. One doll looked shabby, while the other looked brand new. Her innocent face was beaming with happiness, because this morning Jerry, her new neighbor, gave her a new doll. Little Sophia was very happy to get to know her new neighbor, because the middle-aged man loved her like her own daughter. "Sophia! That doll is mine!" Sophia's smile faded when her new doll was snatched by someone.

Bullies left me alone and I had never felt more appreciated in the eyes of a man. "Be careful, amor, make sure you drink responsibly and don't forget that these are not your class of people, Lia." Mother warned me for the upteenth time that night, as she fixed the choker on the neck of my rather tight, short, club dress. I heard father scoff from our small living room, where he sat marking employment opportunities off a newspaper. His reaction made me chuckle. "Let the poor girl go and have some fun, Lolita." He murmured.

061 Little six years old Lucas was waiting for his mom to come pick him up from school at the school waiting area. His small legs swung back and forth on the wooden bench, his shoes not even touching the ground. The late afternoon sun stretched across the compound, casting long shadows that made everything look slower, and quieter. A nanny was there, watching over the kids. She sat on a plastic chair, her eyes moving from one child to another, though not too carefully. Some kids were laughing, running in small circles, or whispering secrets to their friends. Their voices filled the air with noise and life.

I recognized the wine and my facial expression turned quite sour. "What am I? Fourteen?" "I don't get you." Javan looked weirdly at me. "It's Moscato, a wine for babies and teenagers." "Oh..." He laughed out loud. "I thought since you don't like the sounds people make when they get intimate, you might probably be a virgin and you don't drink too." He shrugged and sipped his wine.

Hmm, hmm And you don't have to keep it quiet And I know it makes you nervous But I promise you, it's worth it She kissed his eyes. To show 'em everything you kept inside Don't hide, don't hide Too shy to say, but I hope you stay Don't hide away He reached up, taking a curl of his between her fingertips. Come out and play He touched her face gently, making her turn and kiss his hand. His breath hitched. Look up, out of your window See snow, won't let it in though Leave home, feel the wind blow 'Cause it's colder here inside in silence You don't have to keep it quiet
