Liv I sat on the floor of the spare room that used to be the nursery, surrounded by tiny clothes I’d bought like an idiot months ago. Onesies with little ducks on them, socks so small they looked fake, a blanket with stars I’d rubbed my face against every night pretending it smelled like baby powder and hope. I’d shoved it all in bags back then, thinking if I hid it, the universe might forget to screw me over. Joke’s on me, the universe has a long memory and zero sense of humor.

She chuckled. "Thanks Manang. I'll go up." I said and started removing my shoes. "Okay. Careful Hijo." She reminded me while I climbed the hanging ladder. I signal okay and continue climbing up. On my last step I reached for the hanging rope and pulled myself up. The door size is 5feet so I have to bend down for me to fit. I switched on the light. My things were still organized. This tree house was so big for me before but now, all I could do was bend and move a little so I won't hit some of my old stuff.

“You know the drill. I can’t do anything till you get down.” I groaned as Tinkerbell jumped with excitement making my futon bed shake before jumping onto the small floor area. I really should find a bigger place. Eighty square feet is not a big enough place for Tinkerbell and me, as she will keep getting bigger. But I can’t afford a bigger apartment.

I spot the unit next door—the one I’ve rented. I unlock the door and we step inside. The apartment is small. A little outdated. But clean, warm. It smells like pine cleaner and new paint. There’s a twin bed in the corner for Missy and a small kitchenette that makes me wonder how many quiet, desperate dinners I’ll have here if this goes wrong. Missy climbs onto the couch with her crayons and starts sketching a flower. Her little legs swing back and forth. “Daddy?” “Yeah, baby?”

she asks her whole tone going different, she's calmer, I don't know what Evelyn does to her, but every time they have a chat she's more at peace with being a little, she acts like the real blue she is. "Do you want to be part of that class?" I ask her just to be sure. "Mhm," she nods. "Then I'll put your name down," I say with a smile, we got into my office and I took my seat behind the desk while she sat in front of me, having littles in the company means we have to respect their headspace, when little we can't expect them to work, and we should be nice to them. "Do you want to colour?" I suggest carefully, she's still new to little space and she's worried about going little.

he says in a sad voice, I get what he means if this place wasn't kink-friendly we'll all have to hide a big part of ourselves behind closed doors. I once read a story, it's called littles academy, a world where everyone is either sub or dom, and littles are regular and real things, I loved that book and the author is awesome. But sadly outside of this company walls showing my little self would be a big mistake people would judge and talk badly about you.

TIFFANY I feel a lot better after my playdate with Brittney and Cydney, but I can feel the effects of little space wearing off now that I’m once again alone in my tiny studio apartment. When I really feel like a little girl, it feels like the world slips away, all except for what is right in front of me, and that’s a wonderful, beautiful break from my regular life. I wish I could stay in little space forever.

I asked her, continuing through the binder. “Imagine a smaller packhouse where they can have their own spaces just like we do. It’d have more of a homey feel to it. There would also be a transition wing for those who are nearing eighteen. It’s geared towards giving them an idea of what it’ll be like when they move out and begin their adult lives.” She flipped the page a couple of times, pointing to a diagram that was labeled ‘Munchkin Land.’

I nodded with a laugh, “Yup.” I led him to a small room. It wasn’t big, but it had a nice closet, a mini walk-in, and enough room for a small dresser and a bed. “Not a lot of space in here.” Frankie walked in behind me, “No, but it has enough room for the basics.” We talked about what we could do with the space, make it look a bit better, and update some things. “Frankie, this is only temporary, you know.” He smiled, sending a chill down my spine.
