"Holy fuck." She cursed again, now feeling the searing pinch across her forehead. "Fucks aren't holy.." Without looking up, she knew a charming smile would be plastered on the speaker's face. "They're either dirty or sinful." "You shouldn't wait right at the door! Look at you trying to rip my forehead with your abnormally hard chest!" Luna seethed, still not completely recovered from the hit.

he sad, insulting me. "What? What did you say?" He repeated what he told me. "I said, your name is good to hear, but your face is not good to see. It's full of annoyance!" He laughed so loud. He insulted me again, and I felt furious. If I can't control myself, I'll punch him so hard. He's fortune that I'm not a bad person like him, but if I'm a bad person like him, I'm going to publicly humiliate him.

I chuckled hearing his classic and signature insult to me for a very long time. And then I observed myself... Before, I'd instantly flame up once I hear that from him. And most likely, I'd still have the very same reaction if I hear that from someone else. But it's him. And somehow, that insult has watered down to an inside joke between us two.

I further taunted him. "YOU! YOU IMP! DID YOU JUST CALL ME FAT!?" His grubby face turned beet-red as he fumed in his wrath, but I was not perturbed by his raging anger at all. In fact, I relished in the fact that I could throw around insults at him without a care of the world. These days, throwing around insults had become a privilege to me all on its own. Lord Vilavelt beside me was staring at the entire conundrum in muted silence. He didn't seem at all disturbed by the bedlam as well. So I took the liberty to throw in some more insults.

She raised her hands up for emphasis. Those words she fired at me, hurt me. And I slammed the glass of milk hard on the counter with a loud thud. "Someone like me? Who do you think you are? You think you're better than me? Have you looked yourself at the mirror lately?You look like an old roadside hag. And you're nothing but an insignificance." I retorted my insult through gritted teeth, glaring so hard her. I could feel my body invigorating for war. Because I had my ever present weapon. My mouth.

Upon hearing the slur, Killan's entire body responded. Killan's lithe form reacted on its own accord, his fist connecting with the Alpha's jaw in a swift and decisive strike. The insult had been a grave offense, and Killan's instincts demanded retribution.
