TRISTAN'S POV:- FOUR YEARS LATER It had been four years. Four years since my father was murdered. I found out that my mom had been cheating on my father for years. My father never deserved someone like her. He was a loyal husband. He never looked at any other woman except for my mom. But that bitch just cheated on him. I hated her. She killed my father. Hector married my mother the day we had my father's funeral. She did not even wait until his funeral. Hell, they did not even have his funeral. My dad's loyal employees were in his funeral. They all buried my father together.

ALORA 4 YEARS LATER Four years. It didn’t sound like much when said out loud, but living it was different. Four years was enough time to learn the rhythm of peace, enough time to rebuild trust one small moment at a time, enough time to breathe without expecting the next disaster to roll in like a storm. Four years was enough to fall in love with life again. I watched the time pass in the eyes of my children. How they developed their little bodies and I heard their first words and they started to walk and run.

four years later In a private plane, Abby was flattering a middle-aged woman, “madam, you still look so young, they will get confused you for bride instead of bride’s mother” she said and that woman smiled sweetly as she really liked her complement. “Oh, dinner is here madam what do you want to eat” Abby runs to the waiter and pick delicious dishes for than woman then she turns to another side, “Ella, what do you want to eat” Ella who looks more beautiful and mature than before just coldly glance at Abby and looked out.

“Come on, Kaitlyn. You two had something pretty special four years ago.” “No we didn’t,” I protested. He gave me a Give me a break kind of look. “We didn’t,” I insisted. “And even if we did, that was four years ago. That was ages ago.” “Feelings can still be pretty strong even four years later.” I watched as Derek posed for a picture as an Asian beauty and a stunning blonde each kissed opposite sides of his face. “Not for everybody, apparently,” I griped. Ryan looked over at his best friend’s escapades. “You shouldn’t let this get to you.”

she countered. “But -” “What I'm bothered about is you showing up after four years and thinking that everything is how you left it some years ago.” she cut in, pointing a finger at him. “I made you a promise that I was going to get the best life for us, for our future.” he argued further. “Promises are meant to be broken. You left me four years ago during one of the hardest moments of my life with just a sticky note to guess what you were up to. Four years is a lot of time for people to change and move on, and fortunately, I have.”

“Please let this be real. Please don’t take them away from me.” A warm breeze stirred the air around me, carrying the scent of jasmine and something else, something wild and free and full of promise. It felt like an answer. When I opened my eyes, all four of them were standing at the kitchen window, watching me with identical expressions of love and longing and absolute certainty. Five more days. I could wait five more days.

"Please provide a clear instruction." All the strength drained from his body. He slid down the wall and sat on the floor, covering his face as muffled sobs escaped. The day I was discharged, the sun was beautiful. Mom brought me a new dress. It was light blue, my favorite color before I turned fourteen, with little bunnies embroidered on it. She carefully helped me put it on. Her fingers trembled when they touched my skin. When we got home, everything had changed. All of Sophia's things were gone. My room had been restored to how it was three years ago.

Then opposite me, three girls stood at the center of the hall with a banner that read ‘Welcome to fourth year! I was astonished, Varsity ran a four year program and apparently it was the final year. Why did the school let me finish when I skipped from first year? Sebastian should have made his magic to place me in second year, but nonetheless, I decided not to let it bother me. I would stop thinking about Sebastian and make the most out of my free year in school. Just then, Stacy and Jojo came running towards me. I stood breathless to see my friends again. Last time, Stacy was expelled and Jojo was suspended because of Sebastian. I wondered if they remembered.

“Worst blind date of my life. Figured this bar was a better use of my time.” Despite myself, I smiled, the faintest lift at the corner of my lips. “I’ve been with someone for four years,” I murmured. “Or at least, I thought I was.” “Four years?” he echoed, his gaze sharpening as he took in my expression. He nodded, as if understanding without me having to say more. “Sounds like you got the raw end of the deal.”
