Maeve screamed his name as the red fracture splintered across the void. And the world began collapsing again.

But Lucas, as if consumed by rage, grabbed her hair and slammed her onto the glass coffee table. The sharp sound of shattering glass, accompanied by Lilith’s scream, echoed through the room. Shards of glass flew everywhere, cutting into Lilith’s face. Blood gushed out, staining her clothes red. Her brother rushed forward to save her, only to be met with a brutal punch to the temple from Lucas. He groaned, fell to the ground, twitched a few times, and then laid still. That punch took his life instantly. Lucas stood in the wreckage of the living room, letting out low, chilling growls.

The world I had known, the one I thought I understood, was beginning to crumble, piece by piece. We pulled up to the cabin, the headlights cutting through the rain and the darkness. Carter killed the engine, and for a long moment, neither of us moved. Finally, he exhaled sharply. "I don’t know what to think right now, Winnie." I turned to look at him. He looked... broken. He always had this unshakable confidence, this calm under pressure, but now, it was like something inside him had cracked. "You don’t trust Langford anymore, do you?"

I slammed the door shut and tried locking the door until I realized the locks were gone. "They took off the fucking locks!" I said to myself as I became more angry. I turned on all the faucets and ran water before closing my eyes to try to calm myself. I took deep breaths breaths before Opening my eyes and looking at my self in the mirror. Another tears slipped from my eye as I plunged my fist at the mirror, having it shatter into millions of pieces. I took one of the pieces of glass on the floor before running it over my wrist and drawing blood.

" As I finished speaking, I heard gasps from the crowd surrounding me. The series of revelations was almost too much for the spectators to process. "So Mr. Smith isn't the person we thought he was. It's understandable how he would treat his wife's family poorly after being betrayed like that, isn't it?" "Oh, poor child. Isn't his son only a year old?"

Luna gripped the steering wheel tightly, tears that she had been holding back finally streaming down her cheeks. "Fucking..." Luna muttered, striking the steering wheel in frustration. Luna couldn't believe that Lucas would play her like this. He should have come, even if only to apologize to her. No matter how many curses Luna muttered, she couldn't shake off the shock and hurt of being stood up. Tears pooled in her eyes, slightly blurring her vision, but it didn't stop her from pressing harder on the gas pedal, speeding even faster. She was nearly on the verge of crashing into a parked car on the side of the road, but it seemed that fear wasn't registering with Luna at the moment.

It's really hell or earth so I desire it not abd greatly hood I crash safely. Am closely and hastily approaching crashing. Am closer to the ground. I frightfully shut my eyes. My loud thud confirms it. My spine and head simultaneously crash the floor. It dizzies my eyes. I scream more. A bone cracks. I feel abd hear a bone cracks. No mere crack but an extremely deep fracture. I forecefully raise my dizzy Head and eyes. I gaze down at my leg. U gasp. It's my broken region. My right leg currently face oppositely from my left.

Two other Greys are trying to assist him but they keep casting him worried glances as they attempt to widen the fracture and stabilise it. “Mace, come take a break,” I say softly. “Can’t,” he grunts and his knees almost give out beneath him from exhaustion. “Take a fucking break!” I snap and he stumbles backwards before returning his focus to the sky. “I can't, Theo, I need this open,” he groans.
