Logan (Book 1)

Logan (Book 1)

"Baby girl, you okay?" Logan's voice snapped my senses as I gave him a nervous smile. "Oh, nothing. Just thinking." "Oh, okay, what do you want for dinner?" "Anywhere is fine." "You know I heard Jordan's family have a diner." "The first day you got here, you do not have once eaten there?" "Hey, this is the first time I heard of it." He protested. He started the drive hitting the freeway. "Well, you are missing out, baby boy," I tease him. "Their burgers are Magnifique."

The Alpha's Unexpected Mate

The Alpha's Unexpected Mate

Side by side, we completely steal the street spotlight, looking like two young stars casually strutting through a movie set lit by neon signs and flickering streetlights. A couple hundred feet down the mud road, Hailee lights up and points his finger toward a warm glow. "That is it! My family diner, right there across the alley." My eyes follow his arm to a cheerful, glowing wooden sign that proudly reads Bello’s Comfort Meat Eats in bold block letters. Squeezed tight between two neighboring weapons shops, the little diner gives off an inviting, cozy warmth. The delicious smell of roasting deer meat wafts right into the dirt street, and through the clean glass windows, I spot a bustling crow

Out of My Way, I'm Becoming a Billionaire

Out of My Way, I'm Becoming a Billionaire

There were many restaurants, and there were all kinds of restaurants everywhere. The car turned right and stopped in front of the first restaurant. Dimas chuckled softly. Harmonia looked at him in confusion. The car door had already opened before Harmonia had time to look at the restaurant signboard. The service staff came forward enthusiastically and warned carefully, “Madam, it seems that you’re less than three months pregnant, right? You should be careful where you walk and pay attention to the steps.” Harmonia was dumbfounded. She was confused and looked up to see the unique restaurant signboard. It was a logo of a family of three holding hands! Was this a family restaurant?

Mated to the blind Alpha

Mated to the blind Alpha

I thought her family had picked a public place so I didn't make a big commotion, I seemed to have a tendency of doing that. "Goddess, we're ten minutes late," Amelia whined as we made it in front of the diner which had the eighties or nineties theme to it as she described. The outside was already packed with wolves, brown picnic chairs and tables seated for two was placed strategically and spaciously around the front of the diner, even though I couldn't see very well, the faint outlines of the area showed where everything was, plus it did help that Irene told me everything about it. She described the front to be a pale blue and had little shrubs on the wooden tables. I could smell familiar s

Montana Skies

I jumped into the front seat. “Where are we going?” Lyle asked me as I backed out. “How about Mama T's Diner?” I asked him. “What do they have there?” Lyle asked. “Oh, you know, burgers, fries...pie.” “Pie?” Lyle asked excitedly. “Okay!” I laughed at Lyle’s enthusiasm. Anaconda wasn't all that busy. There were only three vehicles parked outside the diner. We pulled up, and I helped Lyle out of the truck. We walked hand in hand toward the restaurant.

If I Can’t Have You: The Thorntons Book 3

If I Can’t Have You: The Thorntons Book 3

Trent had begun his restaurant empire, making a name for himself in both Fair Haven and Washington State. Lizzie saw touches of Trent throughout the restaurant: the irreverent prints on the wall, mostly of goats; the warm, homey decor that welcomed customers right as they entered; the variety of beers, wines, and liquors that couldn’t be rivaled in Fair Haven. When she’d seen the logo—an upside-down blue goat—she’d smiled. That had Trent’s fingerprints all over it. He’d always been good at thinking up catchy names and clever marketing, his mind always busy and thinking ten steps ahead.

Owned by the Billionaire Mafia King

Owned by the Billionaire Mafia King

"Lauren, I'm out! I'm free! Can you do lunch and shopping today?" She could. *** We were having lunch at Babe's, this new place that had just opened when I had been forced into my own personal lock down situation. I had been fantasizing about seeing it in person for weeks, and it was everything I had hoped for. I took in the decor. Babe's was styled to look like a diner from the 1950's. Waitresses in poodle skirts served burgers and fries on polka dotted plates. Each table had its own private jukebox. And the menu was a comfort food extravaganza, a nod to a time when butter was nearly its own food group, and no one had ever heard of trans fat.

The Alpha and the Rose

The Alpha and the Rose

Dad even let me drive the ten blocks it took to get us to midtown. Forest Hills was kind of big for a town in the boonies of Oregon, and midtown made that clear enough. A wide street cut into the heart of town with storefronts ranging from a retro arcade and cinema house to quaint little book stores and diners to either side of it. There was even a Wiccan store called Raven’s Banquet on the opposite side of Fiddles, the diner dad took us to. Fiddles’ owner was called Big Bear. He was a bald-headed Native American man with a scruffy beard who was just about the right size to make his nickname appropriate.

A Cromwell Rogue

A Cromwell Rogue

Jossie's POV: I spent the afternoon shopping for essentials and clothing at a nearby superstore. Then took Jered's advice and parked at the place he recommended for a good apple pie. It was Tolen's Diner. A restaurant serving between the hours of seven in the morning until seven at night. It would be a good place to work at. I could tell as I entered the place and sat down in a corner booth by a window in clear view of the truck. I'd ask for an application after I checked out the food here. The restaurant was color coded in navy blue and bold yellows. It felt warm and inviting to be in. It had a class of family generations to it and I could tell from the pictures hanging on the walls.

Jay
Hi! I’m the author of A Cromwell Rogue. This is a murder mystery where you’ll discover who killed Josephine’s father. This is also a werewolf love story. I hope you’ll enjoy! I edit before I post chapters but if you find some mistakes I’m sorry I didn’t catch them! Politely point them out or don’t.
