Which in English meant : The story of a dead woman. Dad was never one to read books so why would he keep a book that had a creepy title hidden inside his drawer? It was a story where a girl leaving a town that no longer felt like home, finding herself in unfamiliar places, learning how to build something new from all the pieces that used to hurt.

There are so few views, now that Goodnovel provided me a platform, but I am more than happy to continue this story and perhaps, make it my first completed novel. So now allow me to talk about the novel itself. I have talked to my editor about it and I came to know that my first few chapters are quite odd. The beginning chapter itself barely had any conversation. Well… To be honest, it can’t be helped since I wrote it on my first attempt in writing. I have no background. No experience. I read. I read. I read a ton. I was very smug about my memory since I could remember all sorts of details from hundreds of chapters back.

Nothing beat that feeling of reading a French book. I wasn’t much of a reader. I got bored easily. But if I had to choose between books and movies, I would pick books. At least books let me imagine things my own way. I walked into a small bookstore near the hotel. The bell above the door rang softly. “Bonjour,” the woman behind the counter smiled. “Hi,” I smiled back awkwardly. I walked around slowly, running my fingers over the spines of the books. Romance. Crime. Fantasy. Self-help. I picked up three random ones. All about love.
