It was all that she needed in life. Amelia opened the library door, made her way to the counter, and hung up her coat. Today was a quiet day in the library. She loved the quiet ones for then she wasn’t bothered too much and could concentrate on placing her ‘friends’ back in their ‘homes’. Yes, she imagined that each book was a friend, most of which she’d already read. She treated each and every one with care as she packed them back. She hummed to herself as she worked. Completely lost in her task at hand.

Jenna, a librarian at the city library, praised me after I rectified their Wi-Fi network issue. The Wi-Fi was hacked by someone, and they did it, so it wouldn't work for anyone else in the library except that person. "It's nothing. " I want to get out of here. Violet would probably be among those shelves with her pretty little head buried in between large books instead of working. "Are you free tonight? How about a cup of Iced tea? I know a good place" Jenna offered, staring at me expectantly. "I could show you around too. I just want to be friends ", she added quickly, somewhat embarrassed when I didn't say anything.
