Sometimes, we think we can quite easily get over it and get going with our lives, but it's way more difficult than the eyes meet. In fact, I would say no one person is ever fully ready to navigate through the impact of a heartbreak.

Ashley POV It's been three weeks since Kevyn and I broke up. I admit that it wasn't easy for me, every day that passed I was killed by the pain but it was necessary to be strong for myself. It's hard that I used to be with him all the time but now I'm alone. But maybe that's how life really is, if you're not meant for each other, fate will make you separate even in a painful way.

Can a broken heart be broken even more? Yes, it can. It can be shattered. Shattered to the point of not being able to be put back together. He’s probably not the type of guy to stick to one woman. Or like I said, he’s only after one thing, and after I give it up then he will drop me as everyone else has in my life. Maybe after tonight, I should end this. Even the friendship. It’s too much of a risk. I’m not mentally stable enough to handle something like this. I don’t have time for something like this.

I broke the kiss due to annoyance. “It’s your day today, so enjoy,” I whispered into his ear, my voice breaking. I pulled back, forcing myself to retreat. My chest heaved with the tears threatening to spill. Behind me, his friends gathered around him, laughing again. It caused my heart to break looking at those I called my friends betraying me. It feels like a place where I must conceal my devastated heart with hypocrisy and lies. It is a living hell looking at their smiles, probably mocking me for my foolish behavior.

And what would be the point in that? It's the small things that keep it interesting. Joking with friends, meeting people, doing things you've never done before. And of course, falling in love, because that is the scariest thing- trusting someone so deeply, sharing your thoughts and feelings with them. You arm another person with so much information willingly and I think that's why it hurts so much to get your heartbroken. Because there's so much trust, especially in a relationship. And when that bond of trust is broken, it's like your world is crashing down on top of you and you are suffocating in the dust.

I'm falling. — hard and fast. I can't and I won't ruin what I have with Blake. We're both broken, we both know it even though we've tried convincing each other that we're not. It's like telling your friend that she looks pretty in that dress, even if she doesn't. Mixing emotions into our situation would probably end up in a big mess. As of the moment, Blake Garette plays a big part in my life. He's my very good friend. I've learned to depend on him, and it's possible that the feeling is mutual.

“I just did not expect that this would be this tiring.” I did not talked and stared at them both, pleased and happy. What on earth did I do to have them? I wish they won’t leave me.
