“I hate to be the one that breaks up whatever this is, but...” Pulling my hand back, I took a steadying breath to gather my thoughts. I nodded at Rykor and turned toward the door. "I need to access the library," I stated with resolve. There’s a book I’ve read before. It's the key to understanding what's happening." Rykor and Jake trailed behind me as I hurried through the corridors. The library loomed, majestic and daunting, with its towering shelves and countless tomes. I ran my fingers along the spines, searching for that one book, its image etched in my memory.

Hazel's bookstore had become a sanctuary for the community, a place where stories were cherished, and connections were forged. “So? I was thinking we could go for a tour of the Freedom Trail. They always do it up for the holiday and it would be a lot more fun than standing around drinking beer with Ted from accounting and Marge from operations.” I had no idea who either Ted or Marge was, though by the name I was assuming Marge was a woman obsessed with the Simpsons. There was a lady I overheard from time to time going on about the show when I walked past her office, and it would have been brilliant if she was named Marge. I was about to ask Layton about it when I realized I was no closer to answering his question than I had been when he asked it. “Wouldn’t we have to be here for the office party?”

I replied. Peter, Sally, Finn and I headed to the bookstore while Keri, Leo, Eve, Tom and Hart went towards the multitude of clothing stores. Van and Jake beelined for a sporting goods store. I knew that Tom and Leo would have rather gone with Van and Jake but they wanted to make sure that Hart was safe. I smiled at them and mouthed thank you as they left. Tom just shrugged but Leo mouthed back, "You owe me." I rolled my eyes but smiled. The bookstore was huge and amazing. We spent the whole three hours there and all four of us left with a huge bag of books. "That was awesome! I have so many good books to read now." Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

Brian got out of the car first and opened the door for Matthew, helping him into his wheelchair. Brian didn't go inside the bookstore, only Matthew and I went in. “Jack!” As soon as he entered, Matthew spoke. "Have you come so early??" Someone answered very quickly, it was a man's voice, loud and clear. Jack had not yet appeared, but his voices had been heard. Jack was Matthew's friend, so he would definitely like Matthew, both rich and talented. Maybe he opened this bookstore just for fun. Everyone knew that this street was one of the most expensive streets in the country. No matter how well the sales of the bookstore was, it could hardly make up for the Ground-Hired cost.

Like I mentioned earlier, everyone knows that I am a weirdo… Nobody bothers me because of that… Well, except for Kaylee and her fake-laughing friends. “Liv, can we go and talk somewhere else?” Dan asked. “A library isn’t the most suitable place if you’re in a mood to shout.” He whispered. I looked around at all the people who were reading books or writing stuff down or doing whatever they were doing. “Okay.” I shrugged as I got up from my seat and took my bag, closing the book I was reading. The book that revealed the big secret to me… That’s why books are my best friends… They tell me everything!

the girl requested and Mila nodded. "Eleanor and Park is a really good book, and also Just Friends is a great one," Mila told the girl as she handed her the books. The girl examined the books, then thanked Mila and went to pay. Mila returned to the table and she found somebody reading what she was writing. She walked quickly and took the notebook from his hands, closing it. Annoyance was crystal clear on her face.
