The walk to the bookstore was shorter than she expected. Nestled between two larger buildings, its faded sign read "Willow’s Nook.” A small bell chimed as they stepped inside, and the scent of old paper and polished wood greeted them. The librarian was a small lady with a bob cut and cat eyed glasses, probably in her fifties. The space was cozy, with narrow aisles lined with overflowing shelves and dim lamps casting a warm glow. It felt like stepping into another world, one untouched by time.

Now the friendly smile returned. "This is my library. Let's go in." Alex and Damian eventually reached the library. There Alex saw a large teak door. Damian opened it with a golden key. Inside, Alex saw a large room filled with bookshelves. The books looked old and dusty. Damian said the books were his personal collection. Damian proudly said that they were the source of all knowledge. He also said that the books were his faithful friends. "Wait a moment. I'll find a book that contains information about the incident. Damian walked away, leaving Alex still standing, staring at Damian's library.

Books were her second friend after mom, she'll read anything or everything that caught her eye. Having no friends since childhood, she was always alone with her book when her mother was in the hospital. After going through the front page it caught her attention and was immersed in it, biting her burger and sipping her iced coffee. Giggling by herself, she forgot she was in their school library. *** Edward "Ed, staying at the library again?" Elliot asked him, concerned about his friend. "Yep," Ed answered shortly while packing his books. "Why won't you just skip it, nobody would know," Eliot suggested with a pitiful look on his face.

“Do you think the bookstore next to Wixon still has it?” Valencia leaned on the kitchen counter near the sink, tapping her fingers on the ceramic surface. “Yeah, trust me the last time I visited that bookstore down on 2nd street was 2 days ago. it was a recent visit so I’m sure they still have a few left in the Non-fiction section.” The voice on the phone said.

He says. "Yeah, sure." I say and get up," Thanks man, I gotta go , now." "No worries. We are friends , right?" He asks me, and I smile. "Hell yes, man. For sure." I say. "Well then, have a safe journey." He says and we both hug each other for a minute and I leave for Book Store. *_* I enter the store and memories of us here, hit me. When we were searching for the artifacts and the way she smiled, when she saw the books.

Daff listened to her two friends bicker away as she slid two books into a shelf. The library was full of students sitting in different corners, most not bothering Daffodil as they sat by themselves or in groups, reading the books they had taken. Daffodil walked over to her desk, her friends subconsciously following along as they continued to argue. “You guys,” the pink haired fairy urged, as her eyes travelled through the Library, watching all of the humans studying, “can’t you give it a rest?”

Karen broke the one-sided staring contest of the blonde in the counter. I chuckled. I wouldn't blame the poor girl. I would be surprised too if someone came into the book store and bought the whole collection of books from the romance and fantasy section. Yup, we did it. The library back at home needed some life blown into it, and that's why we decided to do some book shopping, or more like I was forced to, but I didn't mind at all. Books were the avenue to my felicity after a long day.
