My Badass Luna

My Badass Luna

Amanda’s friends snickered and laughed, further fueling her ego. Alison clenched her fists, a burning desire to confront Amanda rising within her. However, before she could react, Ella stepped forward, her voice unwavering. “Amanda, we choose our friends based on who they are, not their bank accounts. We value qualities like kindness, loyalty, and respect, which seem to be in short supply here.” Ethan nodded in agreement, adding, “Our friendships are built on trust and shared experiences, not superficiality.” Amanda’s smirk began to falter, she was not the one to give up so easily. After all, how can she lose to nobodies like Alison?

Best Friend's Mate

Best Friend's Mate

Maya said to me with a smile. “Nice to meet you, Sir, thank you for treating me,” I whispered, I was still tired but I felt stronger. “How are you feeling now Sweetness?” Amos asked as he walked towards Maya, intentionally pushing her as he came close to me. They looked like two annoying teenagers, I just laughed as he came close to me, I was somehow begining to understand what a pack was. “You too act like Siblings,” I said with a smile. Amos had already told me he didn't have any siblings but the connection they had was so strong almost like they shared the same blood.

Ex-husband’s Regret

Ex-husband’s Regret

"Frank's... friend, he's changed his contact information. Do you want to add him on WhatsApp, for easier contact in the future?" Frank shot her a sidelong glance. It was hard to tell what he was thinking. I wasn't sure about their relationship and feared it might be a test, so I didn't want to create more trouble. I glanced at Frank's legs, suppressed the impulse to ask, and said, partly as a response, partly as an explanation, "No need. We're indeed just friends. We haven't been in touch for over two years. Please don't misunderstand." Yes, it had been more than two years.

What happens to Ryan now? Will he just be cast aside? I believe there must also be a backstory about Ryan and Charlotte, on Ryan's side of the story, I just lost interest now when Charlotte already started a relationship with Frank while not hearing out Ryan side of the story. It's sad.

the book was amazing at the first but there are too many characters and chapters so it's getting boring but if u end the book with Charlotte and Ryan patching up again then it would turn amazing and there are two many parts just end it asap ...but still great hard work ...️

FALLING FOR THE COLD BILLIONAIRE NEXT DOOR

FALLING FOR THE COLD BILLIONAIRE NEXT DOOR

She was actually doing it—staking her claim on the world, pushing forward no matter what anyone thought. And me? Sitting here in my glass tower, still hearing her voice from the café. Be friends with me first. Friends. I wasn’t sure what that meant. Not really. But I knew I wanted to be part of her victories. Even the small ones. Especially the small ones. So what did friends do when someone achieved something? Congratulate them. But how? Words? Too hollow. A text? Too impersonal. A gift? Maybe… but what? I frowned, leaning back. Then it hit me.

FORBIDDEN INTIMACY [SPG]

FORBIDDEN INTIMACY [SPG]

Then these clowns showed up and turned my peaceful drink into a comedy night. Don’t get me wrong, though. I love these assholes. In the world I live in, real friends are hard to come by. Actually, that word doesn’t even exist in the business world. Everyone you meet wants something—your money, your power, your connections. But these guys? They’re the real deal. Even if they act like morons sometimes, I’d still choose them over any of the leeches who pretend to be friends just to use you. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw Niu’s name flash on the screen.

Small Town Girl

Small Town Girl

"Seriously, didn't mean anything by that. I've just watched you two dance around each other for years and wonder if you're ever going to stop fucking around and tell the girl." Farley and I weren't close. We went to school together. We'd known each other all our lives, but we never shared secrets. Bonfires, field parties, and cutting class at the lake didn't make a friendship-it just made him another guy I'd known for decades and happened to work for. "It's not like that." "Yeah, you've been saying that for years. I just-" "I appreciate your concern about my love life, but I have bigger issues to deal with right now."

REVENGE OF THE GOOD WIFE (ENGLISH)

REVENGE OF THE GOOD WIFE (ENGLISH)

Friend. The word echoed in her mind, amplifying the sadness she already felt, making it nearly unbearable. It was a term that held so much weight, dragging her back to college days when being his friend was all she was ever allowed to be. In those early years, she wore the title like a badge, taking pride in being someone he could lean on. But each time he turned to her for comfort, it felt like a bittersweet reminder of her place in his life. Once he found his footing, once he emerged from the depths of his despair, she was left in the shadows, alone and heartbroken. The cycle felt all too familiar, and the pain of that memory flooded back like an unwelcome tide.

Double cross

Double cross

“She won’t. We’ll all be friends.” “No wahala,” I said. “You both can be best friends. I’ll just be a normal friend.” “There’s a difference, you know,” I added. “A friend is someone you enjoy spending time with. But a best friend? That’s someone you deeply trust — someone like family.” …………………….. page break ……………….. Meanwhile, in a quiet, dark corner of the school — far from the staffroom — something else was happening. Kingsley stood facing Mrs. Ajayi. Alone.
