Jericho

Jericho

I slumped in the chair and stalked the movement of his hands with my half-mast gaze. "Destroying what should have been destroyed years ago." With those whispered words, he brought the dancing flame to the cover of the book. Flames licked around the edges, blackening the pages until they withered and became a pale white. The ashes trickled down like the beginning of snow on a blistering winter night. Snow. Such a pure element to think of under such circumstances. Snow resembled a blank slate, new beginnings. Maybe this could have been what this was if I had burned the damn book the moment it landed in my possession.

The alpha’s forgotten mate

The alpha’s forgotten mate

Lyra’s heart leapt as she caught the small flames, her hands trembling as she quelled the fire with a practiced touch. “It’s happening too fast,” she whispered. “We can’t control it.” Kael’s voice was steady but strained. “Then we teach them. Before it teaches us.” Outside the sanctuary, the frost born twin’s power also revealed itself in unsettling ways. A sudden cold swept through the halls, frost blooming along the stone like living ice. Dara’s breath hitched as the temperature dropped sharply, her fingers numb despite her steady grip on her sword. “They’re connected to the world in ways we don’t understand,” she said quietly. “Not just fire and frost something deeper.”

The King's faceless wife.

The King's faceless wife.

I don't remember telling Frost that Sity had Sur Marge follow her around the first few weeks she was here but if she didn't feel safe enough to let him be her persona guard, then it says a lot about her gut feelings. Pushing open the doors of our chamber, I walked in and saw the door of my study cracked open. Dropping the few notes I had collected at the council meeting and the crown from my head, I walked over to see Frost sitting at my chair, looking down on a large book. Her thick cloth was off, showing off her beautiful face as hear eyes ran from one side to the other on the page of the book she was reading. I pushed the door further and waked in, stealing her attention from her book.

Wonderful story with very engaging characters. Overall this needs good editing, spell checks, etc. but the story and character developments flowed well that my internal translator was automatically engaged.

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

"Help me? How?" Danial stepped closer, his voice calm yet firm. "The fire element will only provide temporary relief, a way to keep the frost energy at bay. But it won’t solve the root problem. If you continue down this path, the frost energy will only grow stronger, and eventually, you won’t be able to control it anymore. There is, however, another way—something more permanent to deal with the Frost energy as well as the Frostborn Physique" Miss Kirk’s heart raced as she listened, torn between hope and skepticism. "And what is this ‘other way’?"

Alpha's Legal Wife

Alpha's Legal Wife

The pain was growing more fierce, and it scared her. Hellflower's gaze never wavered from her, his eyes glinting with a mixture of desire and arrogance. As the inferno raged around them, he lunged forward, his movements almost sensual in their precision. Elsa met his advance with a wall of ice, but Hellflower's fingers traced patterns through the flames, leaving trails of burning embers that scorched her defenses. Elsa's determination flared, a frosty resolve that matched the intensity of Hellflower's fire. She summoned a blizzard, a swirling vortex of snow and ice that threatened to swallow everything in its path. The temperature dropped drastically, frost forming on the edges of Hellflower

Hired To Tame The Billionaire

Hired To Tame The Billionaire

“Something real. Not a memory of a party or a name of a person we both hate. Tell me something you see right now.” I looked around the room. I saw the way the firelight danced on the gold leaf of the book spines. I saw the dust motes dancing in the air like tiny, silent stars. I saw the way the shadows made him look younger, softer. “I see the fire,” I said, my voice low and melodic. “It’s dying down to embers, a soft, glowing orange. It looks like the heart of a mountain. And the books… they look like a city of paper, all standing at attention, waiting for someone to listen to them. And I see a man who is far more than the darkness he’s been handed.”

Meet my Overprotective Brothers

Meet my Overprotective Brothers

The frost on the windows of the Vane Sanctuary had begun to form patterns that looked like jagged crowns. Inside, the hearth fire had burned down to embers, but the air in the center of the room was vibrating with a silent, crystalline pressure. Elara and Caleb sat on the floor, knee-to-knee. The Grimoire of the Grounded Star lay open between them, its pages fluttering as if caught in an invisible draft. For three days, they had tried to manifest the "Cold Fire," and for three days, Elara had failed. Every time she reached for the power, it flared into a violent, hot violet flame that scorched the floorboards and left her gasping with exhaustion.

Hidden Fire in the Snow

Hidden Fire in the Snow

Before my eyes, my memories—moments with Lucas, our seaside home, our love—were being gathered in his palm like burning spheres of fire. As a final attempt, I detonated the “super-simulation” code within me. Flames burst through the gaps between the Original Father’s fingers. The entire lab shook violently. In that blinding white explosion, when I opened my eyes again, I was no longer in the metallic city. I stood in an endless library—filled with billions of bookshelves. Every book was titled “Sophia.” I opened one book—it was the story of my life. I opened another—it described my death.
