I finally felt alive. “But…” He then put on a serious expression. “We found a rare chemical in your blood. “There isn’t a name for it on the market. “However, in the black market, the name of it is ‘Angel’s Kiss’.” Angel’s Kiss? It sounded beautiful, but I could not help but shiver. “It’s an experimental drug that can control someone’s nervous system. “Its main purpose is to brainwash someone. With a large dosage, the person will lose consciousness and become a puppet.

The atmosphere inside Amora’s Hearth became so cold that Amora could see her own breath misting in front of her face. Oscar did not blink. He stepped forward, his massive frame completely blocking Amora from the city Enforcer’s view. The floorboards beneath his heavy boots creaked under the sheer pressure of his tensed muscles. His hazel eyes were gone, replaced entirely by a molten, territorial gold. "You have a lot of nerve coming into my town, wearing a cheap suit and throwing threats around," Oscar said. His voice wasn't loud, but it carried the deep, vibrating frequency of a Natural Alpha. The glass display cases behind the counter rattled in response.

I curled up in a corner, praying for some warmth. This place used to store frozen seafood. Now, it was just empty shelves and icy air. I stacked the shelves around me, a futile attempt to block the cold. It was useless. When I realized I was dead, a wave of despair washed over me. Seeing my frost-covered body, eyes wide with terror, and bloody nails, I felt a bone-chilling shock. Just as I was about to take a closer look, a force pulled me away, and I found myself standing next to Ean.

I responded. We heard another rustling in the woods. She turned quickly, taking up a low stance as she watched the moving woods slowly. My warriors kept their battle stance, unsure of what other creature was lurking in the woods. Then it jumped into view. White fur, ice blue eyes, and breath that froze the air. A frost demon. I was stunned. Daciana was supposed to be the last of her kind. She was old enough to be a survivor of the war, just like me, but not old enough to have been born until after it.

He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Who is the demon? Me? What is a demon by the way? Then when I got dressed I went out of the room and went to the kitchen, I saw a knife fall to the floor so I took it but I immediately let it go and closed my eyes because I saw something in my mind again. I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

It was the figure standing in the shadows, just beyond the altar’s reach. Asha’s breath caught in her throat. The figure was tall and imposing, draped in flowing robes of dark fabric that shimmered with an otherworldly glow. The face was hidden beneath a hood, but the presence of the figure was unmistakable. It was a spirit—a manifestation of the Frostkin's ancestors.

“Nothing much. Since you have become pregnant after 500 years, it is just nicer to see you kill your baby than killing your lover. Your stomach doesn’t show. It means you are only a few weeks pregnant. A blow to your stomach should do it. Come on get to work! I don’t have all day.” I shook my head incredulously. This creature was sick beyond words. If he thought that I would kill my baby, he was mistaken. I couldn’t let a demon like him exist in this world. I would try to kill him. If I couldn’t I would die trying but I would never call Alex or hurt my baby.

Ryan and Harlow stopped abruptly in their steps, and the colour drained from their faces. "Do something!" Ryan yelled at his men as perspiration beaded his furrowed brows. The Rogue soldiers separated and surrounded the monstrous canine, agitatedly stalking closer to the camp. "I am the frost demon, and this is my territory." The beast roared in a thunderous bloodthirsty howl before shifting into a blazing inferno when the fire erupted from his fur, eyes, and mouth. Black as coal smoke billowed from his muscular frame. The demon's distinctly almond-shaped eyes burned with green fire, lusting to consume everything in its path.

Antonio said in a hard and serious tone. "So you are worried?" Frost smirked at him. "Yes." Antonio honestly answered her. "Don't worry. I am not weak as you think I am." "It's not that I think you are weak but because it's really dangerous out there." "Oh." Frost only replied. She then walked in front of Antonio. She raised her right hand, and her hands started glowing. After a second, there was an ice dagger floating on top of her hand. Frost didn't stop there, she casually stepped backward and made a big wolf out of ice. Only slightly smaller than the snow wolf beast. The snow wolf beast which was almost taller than Frost.

They hit the silver light curtain and fell down with a muffled sound. "The Demon-killing Cover of Mysterious Frost?!" The Demon King with Magical Eyes became greatly frightened. The Demon-killing Cover of Mysterious Frost was a well-known imprisonment formation in the Holy Palace of Mysterious Frost.
