I asked mum because I didn't know Vietnamese names, passing the bowl filled with rice to Logan. "This isn't sticky rice, it's normal rice, dear," my mum said with a small laugh. "Here are the grilled fishes and tofu."

Essy took the basket and gave the first plate to me before giving another to Stacy and taking the last one for herself. Then she handed us all chopsticks which we used to eat the fruits.
