I open it. "Stephanie. Oh my God. You're back!" I look at Stephanie Burnham. She is a beautiful woman. She has gotten taller, and her hair is long. She has long black straight hair. She always looked like a Halloween brat. I loved that about her. It was always weird to me that a prep like Brittany and a punk-like Steph were ever friends. I'm not sure how they came to be friends. But I know it has something to do with me.

4: Group sex “All participants have completed their rounds. I will now announce the results…” The basement fell silent except for the heavy breathing of the three blindfolded stepsons. Their lips and chins still glistened with juices. “Jake…set Number Two was your stepmother, Elena…you guessed correctly,” the supervisor announced clearly. “Ryan…number one is your stepmom…you guessed wrongly. And Tyler your guess was wrong too…your stepmom is number three.” Jake let out a low growl of victory as the blindfolds were removed.

Two binders open in front of her like competing arguments.

This was the first time Jessica saw Stephanie after she lost her memory, and she did look quite similar to the Sheppard family, with a face that always had a hint of sharpness. Chad is now in power in the Sheppard family, and Stephanie naturally follows suit. When she sees Jessica and Terry, she becomes angry and looks at Jessica with narrowed eyes, a malicious expression on her face. "Ms. Hall, what a coincidence to run into you here." Jessica pursed her lips and looked at Stephanie, "It's a bit coincidental, we didn't check the almanac before going out today." Otherwise, I wouldn't have bumped into her. She then smiled shyly and left. Her gesture caught me off guard, filling me with a surge of excitement. It was a clear sign—she cared for me just as deeply as I cared for her. Perhaps dating her was the best decision; it would bring me closer to my children. She has earlier informed Drystan’s uncle that she would be going to Drystan’s mansion, so he had cleared the room for her. Three maids stood at the entrance—Hazel, and two others she didn’t know by name. “Is Mr. Merikh home?” Stephanie asked, voice calm, lips curved into a polite smile.

“That’s wonderful. I mean, not the mess, but the fact that you’re making friends. Even if they’re young ones.” Guilt twisted in my stomach like a knife. She was so happy. So relieved that I might actually be settling in here, finding my place in this new pack. If she knew the truth, if she understood what her step-sons were really doing to me, it would break her heart. “What were their names?” she asked, pulling back to look at me with genuine interest. “Do they live nearby?” I hadn’t thought this through. “Um, there was Emma, the oldest one with pigtails. And Jake, he was maybe ten. The others didn’t really introduce themselves, it all happened pretty fast.”

Stephanie says. Stephanie drives me to her mother's house. Her mother is a spitfire, but I like her instantly. Her last three caretakers quit because Betty can be so difficult. I think we get along really well, though. For the first time in a week, things are finally looking up, and the little room I will have is absolutely beautiful. There is a queen-sized bed with white linen, the curtains are pale yellow lace, and the bedroom set is dark oak. Until this moment, I never knew the house I grew up in didn't ever really feel like a home. Something about this house is so comfortable, and I feel at home here and in this sleepy town.
