Like a lazy, indulgent king, he brought a goblet of Hemlock’s nectar to his lips and drank slowly. The bronze glow of the fae light matched the autumnal tones of his hair and the smattering of freckles across a crooked nose. “I have to ask,” He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, “Why did you dedicate your fight to me and not Drefan? Not that I’m complaining. After all, I am magnificent, vicious, and well-endowed.” Draco, who had never liked the company of either brother, grunted, “Humble as well.”

The doctor said and walked out. "What could have scared him so much? Was it a snack, a reptile?" Diana asked. "Mum, a snake is a reptile," Ana corrected and Diana facepalmed. She wondered what must have scared Draco to the extent of him falling unconscious. She knew her brother wasn't someone who would get scared easily. He was a strong boy and even though he has a soft and caring heart, he was brave and hardly got scared. The more she thought about it, the more this whole thing looked more suspicious. She had that feeling that something was off, meaning something was wrong somewhere.

“You mean they passed through the borders and we didn’t notice?” Dario asks, furious and a little surprised because he prided himself in knowing that his pack has top security as he also was instantly notified whenever a breach was to happen. “Yes. Sera’s POV We all fell silent at Ruby’s words and even the pups around strained their ears, waiting to hear Draco’s reply. I turned to Draco, whom Ruby had put on the spot, as if I were watching a spectacle. We were all waiting to see how he’d handle her. As we all watched, Draco crunched down before Ruby, looking her in the eye. He let out his all too familiar wide grin and finally gave a reply. “Yes, I am Sera’s mate. My name is Draco, the Alpha of the Silva Moon Pack. I am the father of your niece or nephew, which is going to come out any time from now.”

Madchen closed her eyes, and waited for the worst, tears streaming down her flushed cheeks. Suddenly, she felt Jason’s grip loosen on her, then heard an almighty thump. She opened her eyes to see Drago standing over her supervisor, glaring a hole through him. “Is this how you treat all your employees?” His voice was calm, too calm. Jason, now petrified, backed away on his elbows, putting space between him and the terrifying doctor. Watching Drago right now, in this moment, Madchen thought he really did resemble a dragon, on the verge of lighting Jason on fire.

Kiran poured our drinks and we clinked our glasses together in a toast. “Are you scared yet?” Malachi asked me. “About what?” “A girl. All those boys out there,” he said and I got that look in my eyes and Kiran started to laugh. “That’s it. I’m moving. All those dead bodies buried in the forest.
