As Evan closed the door, he suddenly realized that the fridge was covered in pieces of drawings he hadn't noticed before. They were mostly Toby's childish sketches of the legends about the Moon Goddess, along with a few crooked young wolves. Evan suddenly let out a chuckle as he looked at the doodles he used to find childish and almost beneath the dignity of the werewolf packs. For a moment, it felt like he could imagine Toby sneaking into his study on tiptoe. The pup would carefully hold up a copy of Chronicles of the Werewolf Pack and come up to Evan, asking, "Can you read with me, Daddy?"

She tried to call some of them back, but they were too focused on their drawings. Selene continued helping the kids. She drew a tiger for one boy and a unicorn for a little girl.
