Fury ignited inside me, aura stirred, pushing to the surface with a force I had never felt before. Without thinking, I lunged at Alpha Derek, my entire being fuelled by rage. He was strong, but my hatred was stronger. We crashed to the ground, a feral roar tearing from my throat as my wolf instincts took over. I clawed and bit, every movement a blur of violence, driven by the need to protect Lydia.

Dazed, she slowly rose to her feet, giving a small shake of her head. She was still struggling to clear her brain when there was a blur of motion. Damn. Flynn was trying to escape. Of course, he was no stranger to the notorious phrase which had been the badge of the mystery killer that had been running amok through the city. In this moment, Donovan could only perceive danger close by. His sense of suspicion was aroused as he shot a look down the isle to examine the surrounding space, but everything seemed quite all right. Again he shifted his gaze towards the bunk where Natasha had been lying only to realise a vacant bunk. Alas, Natasha was no longer in her bed space. She had vanished out of sight. This time, Donovan was startled to death even as the receiver rambled on in

one of them stammered. "You little shits want to die today?" I bellowed, layering my voice with a preternatural dominance that shook them to the core. "Then so be it!" Fury's rage consumed me as I surrendered to our primal essence. In a whirlwind, I descended on the soldiers, shredding through their ranks with unstoppable claws and fangs. Screams of agony rent the air as I tore through their feeble defenses, flesh parting like butter to the relentless onslaught of my evolutionary superiority.

Talia lunged toward the nearest wolf with a grizzly snarl, muscles rippling beneath her fur. The forest exploded with motion—leaves whipping, earth scattering under her paws as she slammed into Bradly's side with bone-rattling force. Her teeth snapped inches from his muzzle, hot breath steaming in the cold air. The old wolf snarled back, a low, guttural sound that trembled between fear and defiance. It was enough to spark a fresh surge of rage through her.

I responded bitterly. "You will be stronger," she said sternly. I exhaled deeply and allowed my Lycan to come forth. I didn't have much experience with sword fighting as such but I gripped the sword tightly and growled threateningly at the male. My clothes hung torn from my frame as I jumped away from his first strike. I sliced the sword down on his outstretched arm and hit bone but watched in horror as his flesh healed instantly. I continued to hold off his strikes but was getting tired and panting heavily.

As I see Jimmy heading towards the cold I can't help but let out a blood curdling scream. "Someone! Anyone - help me please!" Jimmy stalked around the outside of the cage, his eyes still devouring my bare flesh. "It's good you're not screaming for Rocco. I left him unconscious in the cellar trapped until he starves to death if I'm lucky." Fury rose up, how dare he insult my mate. Taking a huge breath I roared "ROCCO!!" as powerfully as I could and when I heard the howl of a wolf in return it was my turn to smirk as Jimmy's grin vanished.
