The Half Blood Luna

The Half Blood Luna

the man whispered in my ear, before opening the door, and closing it behind him. I collapsed on the floor, with my back against the wall. I tried to make a sound, but nothing was coming out of me. It was getting harder to breath by the second. Ok, I fought till my last breath, just like I was commanded to do. There was nothing left to save anymore. The knife was embedded deep in my chest, puncturing my lungs and probably piercing my heart. My vision was getting darker and darker. I could feel my last breath coming out of me, as my right hand automatically reached the door handle and opened it. My hand fell down, and I extended it out into the dark corridor. That was my last move along with m

I read the whole book in two sittings! I couldn’t put it down! This is the first book I have read that explores the psychological struggles of the characters with so much tenderness. Often in books you think to yourself, if only they would explain to each other how they feel! In this book, they do!

A Packless Luna

A Packless Luna

The air around him shifts again, power gathering one last time, darker than anything before, heavier, more violent, like everything he has been holding back is about to be unleashed at once A final strike A final attempt A final chance to end this I feel it building I feel it coming And this time I do not brace I do not step back I step forward Because if this is where it ends Then it ends with me standing Not running Not breaking Not falling But fighting Until the very last breath Until the very last moment Until there is nothing left between us But who survives And who does not

at first I thought this was going to be the same as all the other stories. dumb main characters with a jealous girl who wants what isn't hers. I was wrong. this book was fantastic. I'm so happy I stuck it out and can't wait until the next book is finished to read.

Breath Without Me

Breath Without Me

I didn't take a breath until I made it to the bottom of the stairs and a few feet into the grass, where I grabbed hold of the old hitching post that hadn't been used in many years, and leaned over it as I took in a lungful of air. Fresh air immediately rushed in, filling my lungs and clearing his mouthwatering scent away. I took several deep breaths, not stopping until I could no longer smell him. My wolf huffed in disappointment as he receded to the back of my head, curling up like a sad puppy. When he finally receded, my head cleared, and the reality of everything that just happened came crashing down on me in an instant. “Fuck!” I cursed through a breath as I slammed my fists down onto th

Home At Last

Home At Last

The moment the servants scattered, the last wisp of air left my lungs. My soul drifted weightlessly out of my body. I hovered in a daze, half-transparent, and softly asked the system in my mind, 'Can you transmit me now? I want to go home.' But the system's mechanical voice was flat and unyielding: [Only once the male and female leads acknowledge your death can you exit this world.] I paused for a moment, then let it go. I'd survived decades—what was a little more waiting?

The Last Chance

I smiled sincerely and turned away from the prison. After seeing Vivian for the last time, I would never need to see her again in this life. She would disappear from my world forever. And my world would finally see the warmth of spring.

After the Last Autumn

After the Last Autumn

But just as he lifted his foot to climb down, he accidentally stepped on the curtain. In the next second, his body tipped backward. With a scream, he disappeared out the window. A few seconds later, a heavy thud sounded from downstairs. Trembling violently, June rushed to the window and looked down. Morgan lay motionless on the ground below, and a dark pool of blood slowly spread beneath him. By the time the ambulance arrived, he had already stopped breathing. He died before they could save him. After that, June voluntarily resigned from her position as station chief and quietly left the base.

Her Last Gift

Her Last Gift

Maybe she believed that only in death could there be peace. I opened the bottle cap. “Mom, wait for me.” A soft click sounded. It did not come from the door. It came from the ventilation duct. The villa’s electrical system shut off without warning. The exhaust fan stopped. The lights went out. The bathroom fell into darkness. My hand shook. The bottle almost slipped. Someone was here. Was it Daniel? It seemed impossible. He was in court. Maybe it was a burglar. Or a robber. A sharp female voice cut through the darkness. “If you drink that, Daniel will treat you like an object and keep you forever.”
