The red in my eyes lit up and my mane of red hair stood on end. Lacy looked up at me, she was still shuddering but there was something else, defiance. She was fighting it, even without the Gob Stone. My eyes narrowed, Impossible, “Answer me, Lacy Cage!” my voice boomed again. She stiffened and gritted her teeth and stared me dead in the face. That was when I saw it.
