They softened and slowed. “You are relaxing,” Binx said in a soothing voice. “While your body remains firmly rooted here on this physical plane, connected to the Earth.” Thea didn’t feel Gaia’s hands press down on her feet, her spirit pushing through, latching to Thea’s and pulling it through the Earth to Gaia’s feet and connecting, creating and completing a circle, grounding her to this plane, the Earth, Gaia as her anchor. Binx continued. “Every muscle is relaxed and warm. You are safe, comfortable, and at peace. “Nothing can bother or distract you. Anything you see or feel, just let it pass by. Every time you breathe you get more relaxed, more comfortable—"

I advised. I summoned the power granted by the goddess. This blessing would enhance their speed, strength, senses, and overall abilities, giving them a crucial edge. The next day, we reached the border of the territory. Sneaking into the area was challenging, but I managed to kill a few rogues guarding the entrance to the underground prison. The sight of me seemed to bring hope to the people of this territory. "Our Luna!" they called out. I liberated them, healed the region, and they appeared rejuvenated. The goddess’s blessing had worked wonders.

"We were fighting for our son!" "Your son is a mutation," Gaia countered, a wave of heat radiating from her form. "He is the result of a century of interference. He is the 'Seed' that will eventually consume the planet's resources to build another Aether. I am here to ensure the garden is cleared before the bloom." Gaia raised a hand, and the floor of the ocean itself began to rise. Stone pillars erupted like jagged teeth, pinning the displacement pod and trapping them in a cage of cooling lava.

“Tonight we celebrate the mate bond between two people chosen by the Goddess to become one and lead our pack. They are the halves of a whole; two souls coming together to form one being with two hearts beating in a single rhythm. In that spirit, I ask the elements to give you their blessing.” “Blessed be this bond with the gifts from Air — new beginnings that come each day with the rising sun. Blessed be this marriage with the gifts from Fire — the light of the heart, the heat of passion, and the warmth of a loving home. Blessed be this marriage with the gifts from Water — the rushing excitement of a raging river, the soft and pure cleansing of a rainstorm, and a commitment as deep as the oc

Ophelia reaches into her pocket brings out a bottle of water and pours it on our hands stopping the fire, the feel of the water on my skin feels soothing but the feeling doesn't last for long as she returns the bottle to her pocket and continues talking. "May the element of Water ensure that their love flows like a gentle river and remind them that love is a fluid journey, sometimes calm and serene." "So mote be it," they chorus. "May the element of Earth provide them with a solid foundation," she declares finally letting go of our hand as Atlas entwines his hand in mine. Ophelia turns around to the crowd raising her hands in the air, "In the spirit of gratitude, I offer these blessings to a

HIS CURSE; HER BLESSING (Isla’s POV) Ethan looked at me like I had just shattered his entire world. He grabbed the wheelchair's armrest tightly. His jaw clenched so hard that I thought he was going into a convulsion. But it was his eyes—sharp, calculating, filled with something unknown—that sent a shiver down my spine. "What did you just say?" he repeated, his voice a little steady now. I held my ground, meeting his sharp gaze. "I said I can help you walk again."

If you can come up with two million, I'll be your witness right now. Stella adjusted her glasses. Though her smile was gentle, her eyes were cold. "Mr. Thompson, you are every bit as smart as they say. Pleasure doing business with you." She turned and headed for the door. At the doorway, she paused. "Oh, and Mr. Thompson, since your hands are worth a lot of money, take good care of them. "If they get broken, or if you go blind, they won't be worth much anymore." When the steel door closed, Summer kicked over a trash can.

He sat up and whimpered. Landon finally joined us and quickly and gently placed his hands on Gabe’s. Gabe shuddered, but it looked like it was helping him. “Thank you,” Gabe mumbled under his breath. He didn’t move or pull away from Landon. “Those were vixies. Very moody creatures, but they have their perks.” Landon ripped his shirt to where he could wrap Gabe’s hand. His body structure was absolutely stunning. His abs were profound, and his skin was still very white.

I wasn't going to apologize for my irritation when she crashed into my life and refused to give me anything other than vague statements that didn't answer any of my questions. "We share in the Goddess's gift." She stated as she pulled her eyes away from me, looking dejected. "But yours is unlike anything I have ever seen before. My mother and every woman before her had it. We are at our strongest in The Sanctum. The longer we are away from it, the weaker we get. We didn't know if the gift would die if we were away too long, so we were never gone for more than a few weeks. It is how we recharge. Eventually, we stayed there, hiding from the people who wanted us dead. We were invincible there.

I closed my eyes, feeling my Siren awoken inside of me, as I could see her starting to shine at the same time as my body started to glow. I opened my eyes, looking at the Goddess, her hand retracted as she silently looked at me. “What happened?” I asked, looking down at my hands, seeing the glow slowly disappearing until it was fully gone. “Your gift is now fully awoken.” She said to me. “My gift?” I asked her, confused. “Yes my dear child, you have a gift to show the truth. You will be able by your touch to connect the one to me, as they will hear my words and see me, to make them realize the wrong they are doing and what my will and wish is.” She said.
