Infernale

Infernale

I didn't see the return trip pass by. My situation took over my mind. My stilettos pounded the pavement, and I gritted my teeth as I saw men in black suits standing guard outside the doors of the building where I lived. The two gorillas standing at the bottom of the stairs bow their heads slightly when they recognize me. I walk furiously and stop at their level without a glance at them. "Cosa si fai qui? (What are you doing here?)," I ask through gritted teeth. I try to keep my annoyance aside. These men are not responsible for the actions of their Don.

Monster

Monster

“Where?” “I don’t exactly remember the name, but it is situated a few miles away from here, and Spraggins Corporation runs it. I heard it is the best orphan in the city. It provides every facility for children. They have large bedrooms, toys, swimming pools, clothes, and food. And they even educate the kids.” He glanced at the building before meeting my eyes. “I’m happy for them. They got rid of this hellhole. They were freed from those evil souls.” My brows snapped together in confusion. “What are you talking about, Ronan?”

GWEN

GWEN

The city gates loom before us, their ancient stone walls standing as silent sentinels, bearing witness to the passing of a great warrior. At the edge of the forest, we come to a halt, and my father's body is laid to rest beneath the watchful gaze of the moon. The mourners bow their heads in final farewell, their voices rising in a haunting lament that echoes through the night. I lay the bouquet of winter roses upon my father's grave, their petals a silent tribute to his memory. And as I turn away, the tears that have been held at bay finally come, cascading down my cheeks in silent mourning for a father lost, a hero remembered. . All the servants were in attendance including goblins and faes

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

But what caught her attention was their eyes—someone had painted them blood red. It was common to see stone gargoyles at entrances. They were supposed to ward off evil, bring power and wealth, and balance Twilight energies. But these gargoyles with their bloody eyes were what esoteric experts called a "blood-eye suppression". It was an incredibly nasty setup specifically designed to trap vengeful spirits. "Those stone gargoyles at your friend's door..." Aria trailed off on purpose. Charlotte lowered her voice. "Ms. Carver, you really are something. I asked about them too, but she said some elders

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

Angel

Angel

Finally, the most beautiful specimen of werewolf I have ever seen jumps out of the helicopter. I'm not gay, but there was a werewolf capable of making heads of all genders spin. I know how to appreciate male beauty. We werewolves are very rarely ugly. Even rogues are attractive, either way, but in front of us was the most beautiful of them all. Dressed in light blue jeans ripped above the knee, a white T-shirt, white sneakers, and a jacket to match the pants, he was a tall creature with an athletic physique, slightly long blond hair, and sparkling blue eyes. That one was Angel; his face was almost a copy of his mother's. We can all say that we are seeing a true angel that just fell from the

Shadows Of The Heart

Shadows Of The Heart

Something huge detached itself from the darkness and approached her. Carine scrabbled backwards away from the monster as it came towards her, halting in the middle of the room. It was six feet tall, covered in black leather which Carine abruptly realised was its skin and had what looked like wings folded on its back. She felt the twitch of madness grab at her as she looked upon the horrible face of a gargoyle; wide, bulging eyes in a muddy colour, fanged mouth revealed by peeled back lips. It stopped over the hole, squatted and issued a stream of liquid as it locked eyes with her. She’s just having a pee…

GO ROGUE

GO ROGUE

-ZOYA- "Bogus! That girl is a liar and a spy. You must be one of our enemies that she's conspiring with." Castellan steps forward, jabbing his index finger at the stranger. His golden eyes droop with boredom. No one sees him move, but with a flick of his wrist, the representative of the Blackthorn family is thrown several meters into the air, slamming into the wall, and the scythe embeds itself in the wall, just above him as though to say, you could have lost your neck just now.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

In that brief illumination, Jack saw it. The gargoyles on the cathedral ledges—the grotesques meant to ward off evil spirits—were gone. "Incoming!" Marcus roared, racking the slide of his shotgun. "Twelve o'clock high! They're diving!" It started as a sound—a low, grinding rumble, like two tectonic plates rubbing together, but amplified by the wind. Then came the clatter. The sound of heavy, stone wings beating against the air, defying physics, defying gravity.

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Not the clean, modern kind. A gothic monstrosity arcing out from a craggy cliff—stone slick with perpetual damp, gargoyles hunched along the rails, mouths open in silent howls. Far below, instead of a river, a neon‑flooded city sprawled, skyscrapers clawing at a sky that wasn’t sky at all. Mirrors.

The Divine Undertaker

The Divine Undertaker

Transient Life Promiseundertale
Caleb then spun rapidly, shooting forward into the middle of the gargoyles, lifting and swinging the Guardian repeatedly! Splat! The gargoyles shrieked as they were gutted, their red and black innards spilling all over the ground! Everyone else started to fight too, with Tia thrusting her silver spear through a gargoyle and deftly leaping away as another gargoyle tried to attack her from the back. It turned out that the claws of gargoyles were razor sharp, and their flapping wings could kick up a strong gust. Worst of all, they could spit venom!
